I fell in love twice

At Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital
There's a burn patient that came in "Page Plastics" April calls. April did the necessary things to do. Jackson came "you page me" Jackson asked, "Yeah, Celine, 28, all the vitals are stable" April reports, standing up and removing her globes "Okay got it" Jackson says, smiling following April a gaze, as April walks she turns around and smiles. "You really like her?" Celine asked, Jackson looked at her "I love that woman, Yes" Jackson says. After a few minutes, April went to Jackson and Celine. "Hi, there are two men here who're claiming that they are both their boyfriends" April says, smiling sarcastically. The two men spoke the same time and it all came out gibberish, "stop, stop, GUYS STOP!" Celine shouts, "Leave please" Celine says, "Him or me" the one man asked, "It's got to be him" The other man says, "I think she means the both of you" Jackson interferes, smiling and he closes the curtain.

I know what you're thinking..ohhh.." Celine moans, "I am a terrible woman, I have two boyfriends" Celine continues, "I don't think anything" Jackson assures, "Well, I am not. I am dating both of them. Well, the other guy, he's my ex. He is..Oh my God, I loved that guy, he's my everything" Celine smiles, "But something horrible happened and ummm..We broke up and that's the worst thing that I needed to do" Celine continues, "I want him back and now that he is, I don't know what to do, I did try to move on. You know, that explains the other guy. But..."Celine hesitated, "But you still have feelings for your ex" Jacskon finishes, Celine nods. "Yeah, I know" Jackson says, "You do?!" Celine asked, excitedly "I am afraid that if I..we give it another chance, it's not going to be the same..you know with all the history" Celine says, "It's not going to be, Celine. It's going to be better" Jackson says, while continuing to work on her burns, "How'd you know?" Celine asked, "At least in my experience" Jackson says, smiling. "So when did you know that you know she's the one...that you fall in love with her?" Celine asked, "We met when we're medical interns, we became friends, eventually best friends, she knew me and I knew her better than anyone else. We started messing around and umm we thought she's pregnant — mind you that she's a devout Christian, and she freaked out, the only thing that came to my mind was I want to marry her. That's the moment I knew that I loved her, that I fell in love with her. It turns out she doesn't and I was devastated. To cut the story short we broke up. We moved on, I dated and she did too. The guy proposed to her, here actually there is this whole dance mob" Jackson laughs, "Oh my God, what did you do? Celine asked, "Nothing, I congratulate her. She's my best friend. "Can you really be bestfriends with someone you are in love with?" Celine interjects, Jackson smiled "I was happy for her. But on her wedding day, I stood up and confessed my love for her" Jackson smiles, "You didn't!" Celine exclaims, "I did, we ran away and got married" Jackson says, chuckling "It sounds like a romantic movie" Celine says, "But we got divorced. We had a kid. we moved on and she got married again and left. "Why?" Celine asked, "It's a long story" Jackson replied, "She got divorced again and came back here. we decided to be together again" Jackson says. "That's one hell of a love story" Celine says, "Wait, how..how'd you know that getting back together is a good idea" Celine asked, "I didn't know, I feel it" Jackson replied.

*Flashback*

At Jackson's apartment
April cannot sleep. She decided to get up and have some warm milk. When she's preparing her mug, Jackson comes out. "oh, I didn't wake you, did I?" April asked, "No, I can't sleep" Jackson replied, "You too? Me too" April says, "You want some warm milk?" April asked, "sure" Jackson replied. "How's the packing going?" Jackson asked, "They are installing cabinets and the stove, We can move out in 3 to 4 days" April informs. "You really want to move out?" Jackson asked, "Yeah, we..I need to and we're just next door, you can visit Harriet anytime" April replied. There's a long silence, April hands the warm milk to Jackson. Jackson sips as April sits across Jackson, "How are you?" Jackson asked, "I am okay" April replied, "You know you can talk to me right?" Jackson says, April nods and smiles sipping her drink. "I-I cannot help thinking that umm..It's my fault, everything" April begins, Jackson looks at April intently, "I mean..I don't know, should I ..No, no umm I shouldn't" April says, Jackson gave her a comforting look, "Okay, I think I have problem *April chuckles* I always end up divorced. What's wrong with me Jackson?" April asked, "Nothing" Jackson says, "Then, what is it? April asked "It's life" Jackson said simply. "You believed that everything happens because God has a plan, right?" Jackson asked, "Yeah?" April answers, "Maybe God has bigger, better plans for you" Jackson says. April pondered for a while, "Thanks, Jackson" April says, "Anytime" Jackson replied, "So! How's your research going?" April asked, it came out more excited than she intended to be, "It's doing good, It's almost done" Jackson replied, "Are we not holding it back? I mean Harriet and I are always around" April says, "No, no. What makes you think that?" Jackson asked, "I don't know. I mean you don't have alone time anymore" April points out, "I have a lot of time" Jackson says a matter of factly. There is a long pause. "We've come a long way, April" Jackson breaks the silence, "We are, aren't we?" April replied, looking afar. "Thank you, Jackson." April says, Jackson looks at April intently, "Thank you for taking care of Harriet and having my back..as always" April chuckles, "Anytime" Jackson says holding April's hand "Good night!" April taps Jacskon's back. Jackson followed April with a gaze.

"That's when I fall in love again" Jackson says, "You are a romantic!" Celine exclaims, "No, I am not. only to her" Jackson explains. "And now, she's my wife, we're happy. I am happy" Jackson smiled, "the point of the story is if you love a person, go for it. you can fall in love again with the same person" Jackson continues. "If you're worried about what people will say, don't" Jackson laughs, "Screw their opinions" Jackson added, "So in between, you never fell in love with other girls?" Celine asked, "No, I didn't" Jackson says. "We are done" Jackson says, "We need to get you admitted for observation" Jackson informs, "Thanks, Dr. Avery" Celine says.
