EDWARD INVITED AURORA to sit with him and his family during lunch, and she accepted. She briefly wondered if the "Wolves" would care, and decided that if they did then they could just come up and tell her themselves.

Edward and Aurora walked into the cafeteria together, and Aurora literally saw heads turn and watch them as they walked towards the Cullen table. She wondered if it was really that big of a deal that someone outside of the beautiful family actually talks to the Cullens. Christ, it's not like they're celebrities. They're just— well wrap me in lights and call me a Christmas tree, is that a cat?!

There was a cat walking freely around the room as if it owned the place. Fuck kind of a school is this?

"Aurora, over here," Edward said from Aurora's left, gesturing towards the table he sat at.

"Yeah, one second," Aurora said distractedly, holding up a finger. She was walking towards the table the cat was currently begging for food at. She watched as a boy fed the cat a small part of a fry.

"Aurora, hi!" A familiar peppy voice called. The girl from her Art class was at the table, and she excitedly waved. Aurora smiled a half smile.

"Hi, whose cat is this?" Aurora asked, pointing to the cat that was now rubbing against her legs.

"That's Kiki. She's just the local stray," someone at the table said.

"Don't touch her though, she doesn't like being touched or manhandled." Someone else said.

Aurora frowned. The kitty looked like she would love to be pet. She started to bend down to pet the cat.

"Aurora, no!" Someone said.

Aurora looked up at the person, it was a blond guy. She looked him dead in the eyes and said, "Aurora yes."

Everyone sitting at the table slightly stood up and leaned over the table to watch Aurora. She slowly crouched down and the kitty, Kiki, looked up at her hesitantly. Aurora pulled out her necklace from underneath her crewneck and let it catch the light of the lights above them.

The cat watched it for a second before trotting over to Aurora and rubbing its head against her face. She laughed and stroked it, and it started purring.

"What the hell," a voice said from above her. Aurora looked up to see the whole table crowded around, watching her with big eyes. She grinned and picked up the purring kitty, and their eyes somehow widened even further.

"Can I take him to my table?" Aurora asked her small audience. Everyone wordlessly nodded, their mouths still agape. Aurora smiled a triumphant smile before walking over to the Cullen table. They were all deep in conversation, but as Aurora approached the table they all looked up. Their faces all turned to confusion and slight surprise when they saw her holding Kiki.

"Rory, how the hell did you befriend that monster of a cat?" Emmett asked.

"I bewitched it, obviously," Aurora said, rolling her eyes.

"Obviously," Emmett laughed. "Come, take a seat."

Aurora dropped Kiki and sat herself between a pretty blonde girl and Edward. "Hi guys, I'm Aurora," Aurora smiled. She loved making new friends, it was the one thing she was good at.

"I'm Alice," a girl across from her said. She had short, dark hair, golden eyes, and a petite frame. She looked just like a pixie fairy. She was absolutely breathtaking.

"I'm Rosalie," the blonde next to her said. Rosalie was somehow even more drop dead gorgeous than Alice, and that was saying something.

"I'm Jasper," a blond boy said. He had messy blonde curls and stunning golden eyes. He. Was. Beautiful.
