When you hold me, when you hold me in your arms
Oh when you hold me, yeah I can feel your heart
When you hold me, when you hold me in your arms
Oh when you hold me, yeah I can feel your heart beating

Tina's POV:

Deep inside, I know we're meant to be. How could we not be? Even if the legend isn't true, I know it in my heart.

Castor comes back with a frown. "I...I have to erase your memory. There's no other way."

I crash into his arms, sobbing. He rubs my back in an attempt to comfort me. It doesn't do much.

"How about...we have one last day? Together." Castor looks me in the eyes.

"What's the point if I'm going to forget it anyway?" I question.

"Because...it will always be in your heart. These moments...they will always be ours." Castor smiles sadly.

"Okay...okay." I sniffle, wiping the tears from my face.

"Where do we go?" I ask.

"You know I've never been to the beach." Castor reveals.

"Then lets go." I grab his hand and lead him to the beach, him morphing into a human disguise.

We jump waves, and every time, Cas squeals nervously, having never been swimming before. We stay shallow though.

Holding my hand, he fights against the current nervously.

"Hey, it's okay. You'll be fine. Just don't go deep." I reassure him. He smiles, kissing me softly.

"Hey what's that?" He points to a kid holding an ice cream cone.

"Ice cream!" I cheer.

"Is it...food?" He asks, watching the kid lick it.

"Come on, dork." I lead him to a good stand where we get soft serve cones. He watches me intently.

The concept completely foreign to him, he tries and fails to lick the cone as it drips onto his clothes.

I giggle, wiping off the spill with a napkin. "You'll get a hang of it."

We walk hand in hand around the wharf, playing games. He's astonished by every one of them, having never seen anything like it on Mars.

I'm glad to make this last day worth it for him. And for me. I hope he's right. That our memories will live inside of our hearts forever.

Clouds soon cover the sky, and Castor looks up in alarm as the rain begins to fall.

"What's that? Oh god, run!" He grabs my hand and pulls me into a building. He's so cute.

"It's just rain." I giggle, my hair getting wet.

"N-Not acid rain?" He blushes in embarrassment.

"No! Do they have that on Mars?" I ask. He shakes his head. "Venus. Nearly died as a kid from it."

"Oh wow." I reply.

He looks up at the sky in awe. "Water? From the sky?"

"Yeah. Where do you get water?" I question.

"From the ground." He explains.

I smile. "You're such a nerd."

Kissing him, I feel heartbroken. I don't want to leave him. I don't want to forget him.

The day turns to night, a sense of dread filling me. I knew it was time. And after that, I'd never see Castor again.

Reading my thoughts, Castor holds my hand with a comforting squeeze. "I'll always be with you, T."

"I know." I whimper quietly.

But that doesn't make it hurt any less.

A/N: okay this one is short but I only have one more chapter left oop
