This one just has Lloyd and the ninja. Also- spoiler alert! It's in season 10, taking place after the event in the end. I'm wording it that way so people who haven't seen the season can click out, I don't want to spoil it for you. Go ahead, I'm not going to spoil!

But yeah, this is after Lloyd's death in the end. Enjoy!

Lloyd took a breath in. He paused then began coughing, hearing cheers around him. Lloyd slowly lifted his head then saw his friends, all laughing and smiling. Zane helped him to his feet, but all Lloyd could feel was confusion. "Where am I?"

"Don't you remember?" Nya asked.

"Yeah. You had us worried there for a second." Kai put his hand on Lloyd's shoulder.

"But- the First Spinjitzu Master-" Lloyd was confused. He had seen The First Spinjitzu Master, he was sure of it!

"You must've hit your head pretty hard." Cole started guiding Lloyd inside.

"Yeah, let's get you inside." Jay chuckled, glad his friend was okay.

Lloyd sat down on the couch with the others, rubbing his eye. He was still so confused. It wasn't a dream! Right?

"Lloyd!" Misako ran over and hugged her son, flinching at the sight of his bruises and cuts from the wood falling on him.

"Hey, Mom." Lloyd was surprised at how his voice sounded. It sounded higher after getting knocked out.

"You're hurt, stay still!" Misako grabbed a bag with some antibacterial ointments and bandaids. She started applying them to his cuts, he flinched when she reached the biggest cut on his shoulder. "What happened?"

"We used the Tornado of Creation  to take out the Oni. A gate and some wood fell on me. I saw the First Spinjitzu Master!"

Misako paused. "You... did?"

"I did! He was on his dragon, we were in a field that seemed to go on forever, there were golden flower petals flowing in the wind."

Cole whispered into Misako's ear but Lloyd heard it. Cole said, "he hit his head on the wood, he'll be alright after some rest." Misako nodded, finishing cleaning Lloyd's cuts.

"Lloyd, you need some rest." She said, putting the ointment away.

"I'm not tired." Lloyd mumbled, rubbing his eye again.

Misako chuckled, knowing Lloyd rubbed his eyes he got tired. "Come on son, let's get you to bed."

"I'm not even tired." Lloyd protested, but he let Misako pull him to his feet and lead him to his room. She tucked him in as he yawned.

"See, you're tired."

"No 'm not. It's just comfortable." Lloyd muttered, rubbing his eye again.

"Son, you need your rest to heal. You've had quite the day."

"Nothin' I couldn't handle. I'm used to it, all the time."

Misako sighed. It was upsetting to her that her son, who was seventeen, was at a point where battling creatures to save a city was just another day. That he was used to it. He shouldn't even have the opportunity to become used to all the danger.

"Mom? Did you ever meet my grandfather?" Lloyd asked.

"No, I didn't. By the time I met your father and Wu he had already passed. Now go to sleep, you need rest!"

Lloyd grumbled something under his breath but closed his eyes, pulling the covers up a bit.

Misako put her hand on his head and pushed his hair out of his eyes. Lloyd leaned into the touch as she began softly singing his song, the song she wrote for him before she sent him to Darkley's. He loved it, back at Darkley's he'd hum it and feel more at home. He'd always felt better, and she knew this song calmed him down or put him to sleep.

She noticed he was softly snoring  and stopped singing. She patted his shoulder before leaving the room, turning the lights off and closing his door.

Lloyd woke up when he heard Sensei open his door. Wu sat by his bed as Lloyd got up on his elbows, rubbing his tired eyes. "What time is it?"

"I apologize for waking you, I had a question."

"Go on."

"What did you mean by, 'the First Spinjitzu Master?'"

Lloyd proceeded to tell Sensei what he saw, from waking up in the field to reaching for his grandfather's hand, then everything went black. The memory was fuzzy, he barely remembered it. He tried his best to tell Sensei everything.

"What do you think it meant?" Lloyd asked.

"Well, you did die." Wu paused at the look of surprise on Lloyd's face.

"I did?!"

"Your pulse stopped for at least a minute. We'd thought we'd lost you." He moved his hand to put it over Lloyd's shoulder. "I believe you had died permanently, but your grandfather decided to give you another chance."

Lloyd was slightly shaking as he leaned back on his elbows. He died. And all this time he'd thought he was unconscious. "Why- why'd he give me another chance? Death is final, isn't it?"

"Because Ninjago needs you. My father cares about you, and he always will.  He's not ready to let you go just yet."

Lloyd blew out a breath, calming down. "Where's my father?"

"He left, I am unsure where he went."

"Oh."

The two shared silence until Wu stood up, patting Lloyd on the shoulder. "Go back to sleep, it's quite late." He turned to leave and was at the doorway about to click off the light when Lloyd spoke.

"Uncle Wu?"

"Yes, nephew?"

"Do you think I was dreaming?"

Wu thought for a second. "I wouldn't worry myself over it. The purpose to the vision, or dream, will come out eventually. Goodnight, Lloyd." He clicked the light off and left, closing the door behind him.

The young green ninja fell into a restless sleep filled with dreams of dragons, falling, and golden flower petals.
