That's a random incorrect quote I found, I'll start putting random memes or something (all appropriate of course!) on chapters if I remember!

Morro was cooking, stirring some cookie batter. His hair fell into his face and he grumbled to himself, pushing it behind his ear.

He scooped the batter onto a tray and put it in the oven. As he bent over his hair fell into his face and he stupidly burned his hand on the oven.

He hissed at the sudden pain  and dropped the tray, putting his hand under some cold, running water. He looked at his hand and winced, it left a small burn mark.

Morro turned to get the tray when he saw Nya there, putting it into the oven for him. She set a timer and looked over at Morro. "What even happened?"

Morro shrugged. "My hair got in my face and I couldn't see the oven for a second, I burned my hand and dropped it."

Nya seemed to get an idea, she grabbed his wrist and pulled him to her room.

"What are you doing?" Morro asked as she motioned for him to sit down. He sat down, looking at the mirror in front of him to see her.

"You mentioned that your hair got in the way, so I'm going to try a new style!" She told him, grabbing a brush and some hair ties.

"That's alright I can deal with it."

"No no!" Nya grinned,  "it'll look good!"

Morro was about to protest more but it was too late, Nya took his hair and started brushing it, Morro would admit it was kinda relaxing. She took all the black hair and tied it into a bun, then braided the green streak before wrapping  it around the bun.

"Ta da!"

Morro looked in the mirror and he actually liked the style. Before he could say anything Nya took it down and did something else.

This time she did something she called a "French braid". It took a bit longer than the bun but it actually looked good.

"Take a look." Nya held up a mirror behind him so Morro could see it, and this he wouldn't admit, but it looked good on him.

She took it down and started over. This time she did a simple ponytail, wrapping the green streak in it. "This one's simple, you can easily do it yourself whenever your hair's getting in the way."

Morro nodded and she took it down, her finger lingering on his green part. "Is this part dyed? I've never seen green dye in the Monastery."

"No, it's natural." He subconsciously twirled it around his finger. "It's always been like that, it's weird."

"Maybe your parents had that hair too?"

Morro shrugged. "I'm not sure. My mom died when I was too small to remember her and my dad left me before I could really remember how his face looked like. I just know that she's dead, but for him I don't know."

Nya felt sympathy for the former ghost, but didn't say anything. When she'd thought she'd lost her parents as a kid the last thing she wanted was sympathy, especially after realizing they were in fact alive.

"Do you know any more of those hairstyles?"

Nya nodded, and began working. They both dropped the subject of Morro's parents,  Morro focusing on the feeling of Nya's hands in his hair and Nya focusing on doing his hair.

"Done! I like this one." She held up a mirror so Morro could see it.

His hair had two braids wrapped around the back of his hair and it looked pretty nice.

"You wanna leave it like this?" Nya asked.

Morro shrugged. "Sure." On the inside he really loved it, even though he didn't say that.

"KAI! WHY'S THE KITCHEN ON FIRE?!"

Morro and Nya exchanges glances. It was them who left the oven on, not Kai. And now Cole's mad.

"IT WASN'T ME!"

"OH YEAH? THEN WHO WAS IT?"

Morro stifled a laugh while Nya didn't try. She chuckled, patting Morro's shoulder. "Come on, let's see if we can help pin this on Kai."
