A/N

If anybody has read my Citrusshipping oneshot, Laundry, then you might remember a detail that Morro turned human during Day of the Departed. So this will just go in detail about that, so I guess it's like an alternate ending to Day of the Departed.

-

"Happy Day of the Departed, Master." Morro turned to go back to the museum and then to the Departed Realm but he felt a hand on his shoulder.

"Morro, why don't you come with us?" Wu asked.

"Why?"

"You could be of great help, and wouldn't it be nice to remain in Ninjago?"

Morro wanted to say yes. He wanted to help, wanted to work with Wu and reconnect with him. But he knew he had to kill a ninja to become permanently human, and he wasn't going to do that. It wouldn't be worth it. Say no. Say no, Morro, accept that your time alive is over.

"Why not?"

Morro groaned to himself as he ran after Wu onto the Bounty. The ninja looked at him weird but switched their focus to their destination. Yang's Haunted Temple.

Strong winds pushed the Bounty away from the temple. Morro watched Cole battle Yang on the roof, it looked like Yang was winning.

"Cole!"

Cole looked up at the sounds of his friend's voices and seemed to gain his strength, fighting back.

"Morro, there appears to be a rift. Go through, you could become permanently human." Wu suggested to Morro, yelling so the ghost could hear him over the strong winds

"Why should I get another chance?" Morro asked, trying to hold the strong winds back.

"Because everybody deserves one."

Morro was surprised that it was Lloyd who said that. Out of them all, it was Lloyd. He hurt Lloyd the most, why would Lloyd be alright with this?

Morro looked back at the temple and internally groaned. Whatever, he might as well try to help. Pushing the wind back, he jumped off the edge of the Bounty and used the wind to his advantage to fly up to where Cole and Yang were.

"No, someone must stay back, it's part of the curse!" Yang was shouting to Cole.

"Seriously? We can't just-ugh!" Cole groaned. He saw Morro approach him and looked confused. "Morro? What are you doing here?"

"Came to help. Looks like you don't need it." Morro crossed his arms.

"Cole! Get through the rift!" Jay's voice shouted from the Bounty.

Cole looked up and realized the rift was closing. Morro was about to get off the temple when Cole grabbed his wrist. He tried to break free but Cole didn't let go, he used his strength to hold onto the Wind Master.

After Cole nodded to Yang, he used Airjitzu and flew up to the rift, still gripping Morro's wrist. Everything went black.

-

Morro silently groaned, sitting up. He felt weird. Dizzy. He yelped when he saw his hand, it wasn't a sickly green anymore. It was pale, but not green. He pushed some of his hair into his face and saw that it wasn't transparent, it was a pure black. Morro pinched his arm and actually felt it. He tried to stand up and almost collapsed. Back as a ghost he weighed almost nothing, considering he didn't eat and he didn't have a body to weigh him down. Now he seems to have a body with bones and stuff, causing him to be unprepared for the weight.
