Hey everyone, before we start the book, I wanted somethings to be very clear.
1. This book will not glorify Ravan in any sense. Just because the book revolves around him doesn't mean that he can be considered as a protagonist here.
There are many point of views about Ravan which are contradictory. I will include both of them whenever and wherever required.
In short, the book is open to interpretation. It's upon you what opinion about the characters you make.
2. You may find some blunt sentences or curse words in the book. Though I will give a warning before any kind of assault or violent scene, you may find some blunt words here and there. But I can't help as it is the need of the story. So I apologize in advance about that.
3. I tried finding about Mandodari but found out very little to no information about her. There were some brief descriptions of her life events through which I framed the scenes or events.
Her life is described in Uttar Ramayan but for some reason, I am not able to bring myself to trust it because I've heard it's in contradiction with the Valmiki Ramayan.
Though I don't know if it's true or not because I've not read it myself so I can't claim anything.
I will once I read both the Ramayanas. I'll be starting Valmiki Ramayan as soon as I get it i.e. in a day or two.
This book is written in an attempt to bring Mandodari's life into limelight as she was also a tragic queen who sacrificed throughout her life.
In no way I intend to hurt your feelings or beliefs. I'll try my best to stick to the real events of Ramayan but the story demands some additional scenes which I'll be adding.
Don't worry, in this book I'll not tamper with the history but will portray Mandodari's emotions only.
I'll be waiting for your reviews and comments. Criticism is also welcome.
Happy Reading!
P.s. You'll have updates of both the books by tomorrow evening.
