After travelling for days and for over a day over the sea, Mandodari could see a faint silhouette of mountains and palaces as she sat with her husband in his mighty Pushpak Viman. They sat in complete silence as no one initiated any type of conversation.
Mandodari could spot silhouette of lanka at a distance.
"Mandodari, we are now entering our home, Lanka." Ravan said to her.
Mandodari's heart fluttered at the mention of our home. For some reason, the thought of her own household excited her.
As they approached the palace, Mandodari couldn't stop herself admiring the golden city of Lanka.
The waterfalls, the palaces and houses of gold, the ethereal flora, the extravagant city made her more curious about the city. She wanted to explore more of it.
She could see why Lanka was so famous. The city had an aura of it's own. The lavish city definitely had something that made everyone curious about it. No one really saw Lanka as it was far from modern day India and the ocean made it hard at that time to reach Lanka. Many of the people were even unaware about it's existence.
