Kalos high- beyond the regions

Chapter 1

Two figures were visible on the cliff.

"It's nice to be back."

"Pi pika."

"Race you to home." said the person as he ran. The small mouse pokemon followed.

"Pikachu, no fair. You always use speed moves to win," said Ash. Ash Ketchum was a 16-year-old kid and had just returned from his adventures in Alola.

"Mom, I am ho.......... Ai... Mom... air!" said Ash entering his house, as his mom gave him a bone-crushing hug.

"So how is my pokemon master?" asked Delia.

"Fine mom," said Ash.

"Dinner is ready, quickly wash up," said Delia.

"Okay," said Ash.

After they ate dinner, Delia took out a form.

"Ash, I think you should join Kalos High. After your school in Alola, you should really complete your education" said Delia.

"But mom, why? I am already the champion of Alola, and the prize money is so much that I can spend the rest of my life in ease even if I am defeated by some challenger," said Ash.

"Yeah, but you should have a formal education. Even professor Oak agrees," said Delia.

"Well, I will think about it," said Ash.

He then went to his room and took out a photo album.

There were many photos. One with him on the ground and all the content of his food tray on a guy, who had apparently tripped him. He remembered how Calem used to trip him whenever he took his food, so he had developed a habit of holding his food tray in such a way that whenever he tripped, all the content would fall sideways.

The next photo was with a girl with blonde hair, having a blush on her face, She was holding Ash's hand. As for Ash, he had his signature grin plastered on his face.

The next photo was him sleeping with the same girl, who was hugging him around his stomach. Ash blushed at this.

'How much I miss you Sere. And how dense I was,' thought Ash, as he went back to sleep.

"Pika Pikachu!" said Pikachu, shaking his head, as he remembered that the girl had come to take her starter the same day as they left Professor Sycamore's lab. Pikachu had seen her but Ash was in such a hurry.

Meanwhile, in Vaneville town, a certain blonde girl was with her cousin, browsing through the album of the summer camp.

"Serena, you still love Ash?" asked Calem.

"What! No, I... I... Yes," said Serena in defeat.

"With all seriousness, if I weren't a nice brother, I would have told you to move on. But he is a nice guy," said Calem.

"Yeah, four years ago, he even jumped from Lumiose tower to save his Pikachu. If only had I seen the news, I would have met him. Cuz the next day I even went to Professor's lab, but he had already left" said Serena.

"Don't be so heartbroken, let's focus on the school. It's starting in two weeks," said Calem.

"Yeah, I know," said Serena.

"Come on, its time to sleep," said Calem.

"Man I miss tripping him. His expression was priceless. Though, sometimes the food got on me," said Calem.

Serena goes to her room. As she is trying to sleep, she thinks 'I wish Ash was with me.'

Ash wakes up the next morning on his own. He sees Pikachu yawning. As soon Pikachu sees Ash, he yells in surprise.

"What? Shocked that I woke up earlier than you?" asked Ash, grinning.

"Pika Pikachu," said Pikachu with a grin, pointing to the album.

"Wha... how.. no!" said Ash, blushing.

"Pikachu, wake Ash up," a voice came.

"Mom, I am up," said Ash.

Delia came running upstairs. She put her hands on his forehead, checking his fever.

"Ash! Are you okay? You never wake up early," said Delia.

Before Ash could answer, Pikachu came with an album, opened it, and pointed at the photo where Ash and Serena were sleeping with Serena hugging him.

"Oh so that's the matter," said Delia with a smirk.

"MOM!" yelled Ash.

"Okay, so what did you think of going to the school?" asked Delia.

"I am going," said Ash.

"Good, so it starts in six days. You will leave two days from now, so go to professor Oak" said Delia.

"Okay mom, now breakfast," said Ash.

After eating, it was time to leave for Professor Oak's lab.

"Hey Ash, take care and don't get lost in her thought so much that you trip," said Delia.

"MOM!" said Ash.

He first went to the pokemon center and called somebody.

"Hey Gladion, please attend Kalos high with me," said Ash.

"Actually, I am gonna attend," said Gladion.

"Please ask Hau to attend too. That would make two elite four. Now Guzma can't," said Ash.

"Hey, how can he when he? You sometimes say so stupid things," said Gladion.

"Hey! Anyways ask Kiawe too, as he too is an elite four," said Ash.

"That would make three. But why do you want your elite four in your same school?" asked Gladion.

"World tournament. All champions participate with their elite four, and the winners become world champion and elite four. This happens every six years, and the title is currently with Leon.  Anyways, so I thought it would be better if we trained together, as it's only 8 months away. We will get a formal invite and exact date six months before," said Ash.

"Okay, I will tell them and ask Guzma to train hard. Bye," said Gladion.

"Wait I could have done this from home! Why did I come here," said Ash, as Pikachu sweat-dropped.
