Everyone was currently huddled in Ash's room, waiting for Steve's call.

suddenly, Calem's phone buzzed.

"Hello. Oh, yeah, yeah. Our team, including Brandt, Mars, Riley, Colress, and others. Yeah. He told me to have a stage two cover. Yeah. I will. He suggested using Aggron or steelix or other pokemon which can withstand bullets. Yeah," said Calem on call.

After a few minutes, Calem cut the call.

"It was Looker," said Calem.

"Did he say something about Steve?" asked Ash.

"He is currently shadow," said Calem.

"So he is alive," said Gladion sighing.

Suddenly, Calem's phone rung.

"Hello," said Calem.

The person on the other end said something, and Calem went to his bag and searched it. He took out a packet of cigarettes.

"Dude you're underage for that!" said Clemont as he covered Bonnie's eyes.

Calem just gave him an annoyed look as he took out a cigarette, put it in his mouth, and unscrewed it. It had a micro-USB jack, which Calem put on his phone.

"This is an encryption device Steve made, and can only be encrypted by those who have this," said Calem pointing at the cigarette.

"Calem, give everyone the earpiece," said Steve, and Calem did as he said.

"Okay, so Cal, check the voicemail," said Steve.

Calem opened his voicemails and had one from Brandt which wasn't showing earlier, indicating that it was on the encrypted channel.

"*STATIC* If anyone can hear this, team Rocket is targeting us. Zzzz Steve, Gurkinn, Meyer, Riley, Mars, and Colress are primary targets, and Ash along with other Champions and elite fours are the secondary targets. Team Rocket is planning something really bi... zzz... they have got... zzz...onium cores... zzz... Go dark... no contact with others..." and the transmission ended, and everyone was shocked.

"I heard this and after that came the sniper shot," said Steve.

"Dude what the hell!" said Calem.

"Well, Look. Go to my home which is currently sealed by Interpol on the orders of Looker. You will know what to do," said Steve.

"Dude-" said Calem but was interrupted by Steve.

"Listen, please. Looker will send you as an investigator," said Steve.

"Okay," said Calem.

"Others, I am very sorry, you all were in danger because of me," said Steve.

"Shut the fuck up and never say this. We weren't in danger because of you. We are your friends and will never desert you," said Ash, and everyone said yes.

There was a long pause after that.

"Thanks," said Steve, with relief in his tone.

"Just don't forget it," said Serena.

"And May... I am sorry about the date," said Steve.

"I... I love you," said May.

"Really? Like we just met yesterday," said Steve.

"Doesn't matter. You once saved my life. You are cool and funny. You care for others. I have fallen for you pretty badly," said May.

"I love you too," said Steve.
