Chapter 28

Somewhere in the Kalos region, in a cell in a Team Rocket base, Lysandre was sitting.

"I am gonna kill Giovanni someday," said Lysandre with venom in his voice.

"Lysandre, it's time," said a guard.

"Yeah, the boss is calling you," said another guard.

"Lysandre, old friend," said Giovanni smirking, as Lysandre entered his room.

"Giovanni, what do you want?" asked Lysandre.

"Oh nothing, I just wanted to know if you were comfortable in the cell or not," said Giovanni.

"Let's cut to the chase. What do you want?" asked Lysandre again.

"The location of your secret Lumiose base," said Giovanni.

"Not gonna happen," said Lysandre.

"Are you sure?" said Giovanni, as he signaled the guards to take him away.

He then called Matori.

"Matori, tell breakdown to extract the information from him," said Giovanni.

"Right away sir," said Matori.

After three days of torture, Lysandre finally revealed the details.

"I am gonna take my fucking revenge, Giovanni," said Lysandre.

"Haha, you can't," said Giovanni as he came from behind.

"Don't be so sure," said Lysandre.

"Let's get to the point. You are in a prison in an unknown place in the Kanto region, with no ally or friend, stranded. Tell me, how will you even get out of here?" asked Giovanni.

"You don't worry about that," said Lysandre.

"Wake up Ash," said Serena.

"Huh?" said Ash, as he got up.

It was four in the morning.

"What happened Serena?" asked Ash.

Serena was crying.

"I... I... I had a nightmare," said Serena, sobbing.

"What was it?" asked Ash.

"It was someone, I think Giovanni, and he had some missiles, and then there was a giant explosion in the air. It was all so real, I almost felt the shockwave," said Serena, shivering.

"It's okay Serena," said Ash, hugging her.

"I am so sorry, I woke you up just because of a stupid nightmare," said Serena.

Ash suddenly pulled her away and looked straight into her eyes.

"It was not. A nightmare like this can shake anyone up," said Ash seriously and then hugged her again.

"Now calm down. As we are awake now, do you want a cup of coffee? After that, we can go train. Nothing's better than early morning training," said Ash.

"Well, it is Saturday, so we can do some training," said Serena.

"Good. I'll go make the coffee," said Ash.

"Okay," said Serena, as Ash got up.

'I am so stupid, waking Ash up just because of a nightmare,' thought Serena.

Meanwhile, as Ash was making coffee, he was thinking.

"Is this her psychic powers causing her to see visions of the future?" said Ash quietly to himself. "Calem said there was something Steve knew but didn't want to tell others."
