Chapter 22

"H-how?" asked Spectrum as he coughed out blood.

"Well, I got my ways," said Steve as he once again disappeared and reappeared behind him.

'Charizard, be ready,' he thought as he took a deep breath, and Charizard could be seen doing the same.

'Blast Burn,' he thought as he sent a huge blast of fire at Spectrum.

"NANI THE FUCK!" he yelled as he jumped. But he was too slow and got hit.

Steve appeared behind him with his hand glowing. He proceeded to punch him straight in the ribs, and heard a loud crunch.

"AAAAH!" yelled Spectrum.

"Oh shit, this was painful," said Spectrum massaging his ribs.

"I am on a mission, so sorry in advance," said Steve as he disappeared once again.

Spectrum looked all around him, trying to determine where Steve could attack him.

He was almost sure Steve wasn't there anymore when he felt the ground shaking.

'What? H-how? Unless...' he couldn't complete his thought as Steve burst from the ground and punched him in the jaw, breaking it.

"It's over Spectrum," said Steve as he walked to him.

Spectrum was lying on the ground, bleeding.

"I was thinking how you could do it. You can do pokemon moves now, can't you?" asked Spectrum with a toothy grin.

"Of the ones I have previously synced before," said Steve.

"Heh. I am defeated. What are you gonna do? Put me in jail? I can break out easily," said Spectrum.

"..."

"That's the thing with you heroes. You are so into heroics that you can't finish your opponents. that's why heroes always lose. That's why you'll lose," said Spectrum with a mad grin.

"You're right. heroes don't kill anyone..." started Steve.

"Heh."

"... However you're wrong about one thing..."

Steve bent on his knees and looked him straight in the eyes.

"... I am no hero..."

He placed his hand on Spectrum's throat.

"... I am a protector," said Steve as he crushed his throat.

"I hope you are on the right side next time," said Steve as he picked up his body.

"Now to set this world on track..."

"You see, after you learn to completely control your powers, you can use the moves of pokemon you were ever in sync with emotionally, like used a Z-move, a special evolution, or something along the lines," said Arthur.

"This is a cool ability," said Ash.

"But it is extremely taxing both physically and mentally. Do it without proper training and your limbs could break, more like explode, or you could become mad," said Mifune.

"D-did something like this happened to Steve?" asked Ash, a little nervous.

"Yes, Steve singed his brain," said Izuna.

"Whoa!" gasped Ash.

"Yeah. So, are you willing to do it?" asked Mifune.

"Of course I am. No matter how difficult it is, I am going to do it," said Ash enthusiastically.
