1. Balancing a part-time job with school and training wasn't easy. At all. Yet, you managed it. Probably helped that you were working at a bookstore with pretty flexible hours that let you study while on the job. Cushy gig, right? Wrong. If you had to deal with one more obnoxious customer who thought you wanted to hear his thoughts on some book you never heard of or deal with one more Karen who didn't seem to get that the store didn't sell the movie version of the book she wanted, you were going to scream. Only upside was that (Crush) visited on the regular, the two of you often chatting while you worked. You weren't entirely certain you had seen them buy anything but then again, you weren't always at the register so it was possible they had. Right now though, you were doing your best not to snap as some moron tried to lecture you about how Twilight was the best book series on the planet. (Crush) seemed to notice your predicament from where they were, strolling down a random aisle, and looked like they were about to jump in for your defense. Or help you kick the idiot out the store. Either or. You didn't care at this point

2. It was official. You pretty much lived at the library at this point. Studying had ground your social life into non-existence and you couldn't wait for exams to finally be over. You were hunched over a book, the words swimming before your eyes as you failed to pick up any information. A sound made you jump and you looked up, looking at (Crush) in surprise.

"Need some help?"

3. Being a bookworm was expensive. That much anyone who liked books could attest. So having access to a local public library was a godsend. Didn't hurt that the librarian was hot as heck, you often taking longer than necessary to check out all the books you wanted to borrow. Then, one day, as you're checking out some random book that you've had your eye on for a while, you're startled out of admiring (Crush) by something they say.

"Do you want to go out for coffee sometime?"

4. Same as 3 but you're the librarian and (Crush) is the bookworm
