DAVID "KING" EAST
I double parked my Range next to Riley's Audi in our garage as I turned the engine off on my truck, grabbing my shopping bags in the process.
I had just finished dropping the kids off at the babysitters for the night. Riley and I had plans to meet up with Don and Lauren lata' for some drinks and music at this poetry spot out in Long Beach. Kash and Rocko was busy taking care of RJ who was sick with a cold and who knows where Sky and Ace was, they was still in the fucking all day phase of their relationship, but I was happy for my bro and sis.
I used my foot to push the garage door open that lead into our kitchen.
"Ri'! Mommas whea' you at!"
" upstairs, in the bedroom!"
I nodded, closing the garage door behind me, which reset the alarm automatically.
" Cool give me a sec"
I dropped my keys and wallet on the kitchen counter before kicking my black Dior sneakers off and heading upstairs to my baby.
I smiled hearing the light sounds of our speaker playing Kendrick Lamar, as Poetic Justice flowed through the master bedroom.
"What you doing in here?"

"hey baby, nothing trying find my other YSL heels for tonight, I want to wear them with that black Gucci dress you brought me for our anniversary last year."
I nodded keeping my smile as I leaned over kissing Riley on her pump lips.
"Hmm, you was eating strawberries?"
I licked my lips enjoying the taste, as Riley responded with a simple smirk.
"Yeah I just put them back in the fridge, I didn't want to drink tonight on a empty stomach and feel sick"
" smart, and I like the Gucci vibes you going wit' tonight, I think imma do the all black on black too. I just picked up some ripped Amiri jeans and I think you washed my Gucci black tee?"
