I pulled up to my Uncle Nasir's hotel, giving my keys to the valet on duty before pulling my sweats up and heading into the lobby. I smiled at the attendant on duty tonight, remembering her from the other day when I picked the kids up.
I pressed the button for the 13th floor once I got on the elevator and relaxed against the glass and I sighed wondering what my Uncle could want at this time, knowing he didn't find Daniel like he thought he would have when he came out here to Cali. I was kinda surprised he was still here to be honest.
The elevator dinging signaling that I made it to the 13th floor, knocking me out of my thoughts. I stepped off the elevator making a left down the long cream carpeted hallway to my Uncle's suite. I shook my head laughing at how my Uncle always traveled in style even from when I was a young bull. It was one of the many things I admired him.

I replayed my Uncle's words as I knocked on his door.
I pulled my phone out as felt it buzz. I smiled once I swiped it open and saw Riley had sent me sexy picture of her at home. I bit my lip, smiling as I texted her back some nasty shit, as I heard the door unlock.

I smirked as I kept typing, hearing the door open, walking in.
Tucking my phone back in my Nike black sweats, I greeted my Uncle Nas with a fatherly/son hug.
"Wassup, I got Riley back at the house waiting on me"
I followed him further into his suite, only to stop mid step.
" What that FUCK IS HE DOING HERE!"
I pointed at this bum ass sperm donor Daniel, as I kept my eyes on my Uncle
What the fuck is going on
" I called Daniel here to talk to you nephew"
I stood looking back and forth between Nasir and Daniel as I tried to understand what the fuck was going on and why he was here.
"Nas you told me you couldn't find him and here he is sitting in your fucking hotel suite... nah man, I have nothing to say to this nigga! You been more of father to me than this nigga could ever be too ME!"
I slapped my chest saying
" Look, I'm not here for forgiveness I'm here to talk to you as a man"
I chuckled darkly looking up at the ceiling as I stopped my eyes from glazing over.
"Youse' gots to be shittin' me"
" You wanna talk man to man?"
I laughed again shaking my head.
This niggas was something else
"David, I was young...your mom was beautiful and yes I was in love with her but your grandfather and Uncle wasn't haven't none of that"
Daniel spoke as he stood from the couch and started walked toward me. I held my hand up to stop him.
" don't move another fuckin' inch or I swear I'm drop your ass again"
"And no offense but wasn't you what...18? And my mother was fucking 14 you knew better, you was my Uncle's right hand man and you crossed the line and messed with his baby sister, what you expect to happen!!!"
I balled my fist up about to step to this bum nigga, only for Nas to stop me, putting his hand on my chest.
" what I taught you? Be a man and listen.. don't like what he gotta say.. leave after but don't let your anger get the better of you.. success David..remember that"
I nodded as I looked at my Uncle.
" Talk nigga"
" like I was saying I loved Rose but I just... I just"
I watched as Daniel put his head down , shaking it... as his shoulders slumped in defeat.
" Could've been a man and stood by your fucking FAMILY!!"
I bit into my lip hard as I tried to think if this was Riley and me, could I leave her and my kids for money?
"I heard enough, I'm out"
I looked at Daniel hard one more time, looking into his features that mimicked Santana's.
" you kno' the crazy part, you got 3 beautiful grandchildren that are the best fucking thing in this world, and you'll never get to experience the joy it is to come home to a family that loves you, that needs and depends on you... and for that, I feel sorry for you"
I nodded toward my uncle and headed out. I was over all this corny shit
1:39am
I made it back home in about 45 mins. I parked in the garage because the weather channel said it would be rain tomorrow and I didn't want my Range, Snow White streaked.
I headed in the house through the garage into the kitchen and put the alarm on and checked the camera's around the house one more time before I went into the kitchen and grabbed a bottled water from the fridge.
I headed upstairs and checked on the kids first in their rooms and shook my head when I saw Kinsley knocked out, snoring cuddled around her favorite teddy bear in her bed.

I finally headed into our master bedroom to find Riley knocked out cold in the middle of our bed, in her sexy ass little get up.
I chuckled making sure not to wake her as I headed into our closet and and took of my clothes off and placed my jewelry in they designated spots.
I headed back into our bedroom, walking over to Riley's side and pulling her silk bonnet from her side table, putting it on for her. I got into bed behind her as I pulled her body close into mine, kissing her lips a few times.
"Your home, every thing okay?"
Riley asked me sleepily as she cuddled into my chest more, wrapping her leg loosely around my torso.
