I sat up straight as arrow as I listened to King tell me what just happened between him and Daniel bitch ass.
"What's wrong baby"
I felt Glo' lean on my back as I turned to peck her lips a few times, smiling at her.
" nothing G, let me talk to my nephew for a bit, I'll be right back"
She simply nodded as she laid back on the couch, naked from the bottom down. I grabbed her wine glass and handed it to her, earning a thank you in response.
I nodded as I left out our Library to my office on the second floor.
Once I was inside I closed the door and put King on speaker as I sat behind my desk, in my leather chair.
"King, you did right, Daniel had no right to bring Sam into the argument and that earned him a right hook to his mouth. I'm sorry I'm not there to help with shit, but let me reach out to my peoples in LA and see where he laying his head at.. all I ask in let me see what I find or before you go off and do something stupid with Rocko and Don.
" aight Unc, handle him before I do.. that's all imma say.. I'm tired of people fucking with my family and the way I'm feeling ill do time happily for protecting mine.
" I kno' you would son, but you called me for help... so let me do just that... help"
DAVID "KING" EAST
2 days later| Baldwin Hills, California
I walking to the house, looking the door behind me as quietly as possible.
"Shhhh nigga"
I chuckled and said to myself as I tried to take my sneakers off with out falling.
After 3 attempts I had finally had them off and made my way upstairs to our bedroom.
I checked on the kids first in there rooms, seeing them all knocked out snoring,told me all I need. I closed their doors back before making my way to my bedroom.
I pushed the door open to see Riley knocked out with the TV on reruns of Girlfriends on BET.
I pulled the rest of my clothes off, tripping down to just my Nike boxers and socks. I left all my clothes where they laid on the floor, my head was spinning and the only think I wanted was to lay up under my wife and sleep this alcohol out my system.
As soon as my head touched my bed, I pulled Riley close and let my problems fade away into sleep.
