I bent down to Sam's level as she held up her styrofoam cup of lemonade from Auntie Anne's to my mouth
" thank you Pea"
" you welcome daddy"
" we gotta stop in here real quick before we go to the Build- A- Bear store for Teddy new outfit"
I let Sam's go as I held the door open for my lil princess
"ooohhh mommy gonna like this"
I smiled down at Sam as we made our way further into the luxury jewelry store. Riley's birthday was less than a week away and I needed to finalize a few things beforehand.
"I thought so to sweet pea, that's why we have to keep this a secret from mommy until this weekend.
Sam smiled up at me as she looked at the displays of jewelry throughout the store.
"hello Mr. East, are you here to pick up the custom piece for your wife?"
I nodded before answering as I was caught up in a text from Rocko about a late delivery to the shop this morning.
"uh, yeah..I was told to come in today to pick up the necklace is it ready?"
"yes, let me go get that for you and wrap it up."
"aight"
I put my attention back on Sam as she looked around the store.
"Remember this a secret.. no telling mommy or Kinsley.."
" Right, Kinsey bad at keeping secrets"
"right pea, let me wrap this up for your momma and we out."
Once we where finished picking up Riley's birthday gift Sam and I continued our walk hand in hand through the mall to Build-A-Bear but for someone who was dead set on going to this store, she had me stopping at damn near every store on the way.
