"Hindi kita magets." I whispered to him. He then tilted his head towards me and faced me with a laughing face. "Anong nakakatawa?" I asked. 

"Hindi mo gets?" he asked while still laughing at me. 

"Hindi." I answered honestly.

"Ako rin, e. Hindi ko magets." he said, laughing before looking away and admiring our view.

"Huh? Ang gulo mo." I laughed before facing our view as well. 

"Magulo talaga lalo na pag walang kasiguraduhan, baka sa huli masasaktan ka lang." he added making me looked at him again. What does he mean?

"May hugot?" I asked him, smiling. 

"Wala. Anyways, kailan balik mo sa Manila?" he asked, changing the topic. I wanted to ask him more about whatever he said, but I just didn't mind it and answered his question instead. 

"Next week, before New Year." I said. 

"Oh, tagal mo pa. Ikaw lang mag-isa?" he asked. 

"I guess, kung ako nga lang gusto ko na umuwi pero half of me wanted to stay here. Para naman makahinga ako ng maluwag dito. Maybe I need some rest as well, so maganda na ring mag-isa ako dito. Marami akong nare-realize. Ikaw? Hanggang kailan ka dito?" I asked him, smiling. 

"Last day ko na bukas. Sa susunod na araw alis namin." he said with a serious face. 

I felt my heart ache for a while, parang nalungkot ako sa sinabi n'ya. "Ah, I see." I said. 

We remained silent after that conversation. Wala ni isa sa aming nagsasalita, pareho lang kaming nakatingin sa dagat ng tahimik. At some point, I felt comfortable beside him. I felt at peace, 'yung tipong walang iniisip na problema. 

"Gail," after a few moments of silence, gulat akong napatingin nang tawagin niya ako, and this time without Miss na ang tawag niya. So unusual!

"Yes?" I asked him.

"Alis tayo bukas." he said that made me shocked. Is he inviting me or what?

"Saan tayo pupunta?" I asked him. 

"Sa kabilang isla, diba sabi mo gusto mong pumunta do'n? Punta tayo bukas." he said, he's really serious!

"Sure?" I asked. 

"Yeah, I want to spend my last day there... with you." he said, making me freeze in shock!

What the hell is he saying? Blanko ang utak ko na pumasok sa hotel room ko. Hindi ko na naiintindihan lahat ng sinabi niyang details sa akin para bukas after that talk. My mind went blank, all I remembered was my heart racing when he said those words. But I don't want to assume things, baka mali lang ang interpretation ko sa mga sinasabi niya.
