When It Hits

"What d-did you just... said?" I whispered to him, my lips were shaking and so were my knees. Did he just say he likes me?  

"You heard that right." he whispered back, smiling and winking at me before walking away, leaving me there. What the heck!?

I turned around and watched him walked away, palabas na siya ng villa ngayon. "That man isn't serious or what, right!?" I said to myself out of disbelief. Oh my gosh, my heart was still racing, parang konti nalang lalabas na!

I reached for my things at the sofa and went inside one of the rooms, beside the room I think he owned, the one that I was about to knock earlier. I changed my clothes into swimming clothes. I wore my one-piece maroon swimsuit and paired it with maong shorts before getting my phone to take photos outside. 

I gathered all of my strength before finally deciding to go outside the villa. I don't know how to face him but I need to kasi kami lang naman dalawa ang nandito. I let out a deep breath before walking near the shore, I saw him sitting there, probably thinking of something since nakatinging lang siya sa kawalan. 

I cheered myself up again before slowly walked beside him and sat in there. "Hey," tawag ko sa kan'ya habang binabangga pa ng balikat ko ang balikat niya. He then faced me and smiled immediately. 

"Mags-swimming ka na ba?" he asked me. 

"Depends, baka maya maya. You? And why are you here?" I asked him. 

"Wala lang, nag-iisip lang. Maya na ako lalangoy." he answered. 

"What are you thinking?" I asked kahit nahihiya ako sa hindi malamang dahilan. 

"Why? You want me to tell you what I am thinking now?" he raised a brow at me, smirking. 

"Why not? Besides, we're just all alone in here. Ang pangit naman siguro na parang wala tayong kibuan diba?" I asked him back, crossing my arms at my chest. He then laughed a bit before facing the view. 

That side profile of him captures my heart. The way he looks at things or even someone, it's with admiration. That's why when he looks at you, you would know that you are valuable because through his stares, you would know how worthy you are of him for he looks at you passionately. Those eyes that will hit you on the spot. 

"Alam mo, ang saya pala pag kasama mo 'yung taong gusto mo ngayon, 'no? Akala ko noon imposible, e. Ang hirap mo kasing maabot." he said before looking at me. I gave him a questioning look. 

"What do you mean?" I asked him. 

"Alam mo Gail, ang manhid mo. Pero okay lang, alam ko namang alam mo na, nasabi ko na e." he laughed, I looked away just to hide my embarrassed face at him, bakit nga ba ang manhid ko? "Pero alam mo? Hindi ko rin alam kung paano tayo napadpad sa ganitong sitwasyon." he laughed. 

"When did that start? I mean, your feelings?" I asked before looking back at him again.
