Kingdom of the Plains
Night

"I have to do this, mother," HeroBrine said, "they're my friends."

HeroBrine was preparing to leave the Kingdom to go and find Daniel and Petra. For all he knew, they could be dead. That was something that HeroBrine didn't want to think about. To ease his worries, he only thought of the patients positive outcomes.

"You can't leave the Kingdom," Carlily said, "it's too dangerous out there."

HeroBrine stopped grabbing supplies for a minute. He had his back facing Carlily. She walked over to him and wrapped her arm around his waist. They both looked at each other briefly.

"I've survived much worse than this mother," HeroBrine said, "I can handle a couple of Zombies and Skeletons."

"It's not the Zombies or Skeletons that I'm worried about," Carlily said, "it's a matter of getting out of the Kingdom. That is what I'm worried about. The Guard won't open the gates and you know that."

"Well it's a good thing I can fly, isn't it?" HeroBrine said as there was a knock at their door. Both Carlily and HeroBrine looked over at the door.

"What do they want now?" Carlily asked as she walked over to the oak wood door and opened it. When she did, Victor and another Guard were standing outside.

"Can I help you gentlemen?" Carlily asked.

"Is HeroBrine home? Scarlet has requested his presence at the Castle. She would like to speak to him," Victor answered.

"She wants to speak to him now? At this time of night?" Carlily questioned, "this matter can't wait until dawn?"

"My apologies ma'am," Victor said, "but this matter is urgent. He needs to come with us."

"Is my son in any kind of trouble?" Carlily asked.

"Not to my current knowledge, no," Victor said.

"Allow me to explain, would you Victor?" A familiar voice from behind Victor and the other Guard, said. It was Ceres.

"Carlily," Ceres said, "as you know Daniel and Petra went missing, right? Scarlet is only doing what's best for the Kingdom. She's trying to help. She just needs to talk to him. That's all."

"HeroBrine," Ceres said, "she only wants a moment of your time."

Carlily, as Ceres glanced over at HeroBrine, saw that something was odd about Ceres and Victor. They were acting strange. But what was the reason behind this?

"Fine," HeroBrine said, "I'll come with you."

"Splendid," Ceres said, "I assure you that you're not in any trouble friend."

"Yeah, right. Somehow I don't believe that," HeroBrine said.

HeroBrine closed the chest he was digging through and walked over to the door. He looked at Carlily and faintly smiled. "Everything will be okay, mother. I'll be back soon."

"Okay," Carlily said as HeroBrine walked outside. Victor, Ceres, and the other Guard all turned around and followed behind HeroBrine. They are now making their way back towards the Castle.

As HeroBrine, Ceres, Victor and the other Guard walked through the Kingdom, everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at them. HeroBrine sensed that something wasn't right. But he couldn't grasp what that problem was.

"Scarlet is only trying to help us find them. That's all she's trying to do," Ceres said.

"Would you stop telling me that? You've told me three times already," HeroBrine said as they approached the main entrance to the Castle.
