*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*
I roll over and turn off my alarm.
"What's today?" I said out loud. I turned on my phone and it said the 13th. I look through my notifications and see a text from Will.
Hey, I can't wait for tonight. :)
Wait whats tonight? Oh my gosh! My date with Will! I have to go buy something to wear!
I quickly got dressed in jeans and an oversized sweater. I put my hair up in a messy bun, grabbed my purse and a donut, and ran outside to my car. I started to drive to the mall while stuffing a donut in my mouth.
I finally got to the mall and went into a store that I forget the name of. The manikins looked cool, so I figured, why not? When I walked in, everybody stopped what they were doing and just stared right at me. Did I have something in my teeth? Or was my eyeliner stained? I was getting uncomfortable, until I looked up.
Right in front of my eyes was a dress. The prettiest dress I've ever seen. It was blue, and it had little sparkles on it, and it was pretty short, I mean I've never worn a dress that short. But, I'm going to buy it anyways. I don't think I'm going to wear it tonight, just because I think it's too fancy. Maybe if all goes well, I'll wear it for another night...
I was drifting off in my thoughts when I felt somebody bump into me. I looked over and it was a girl, probably my age, she was a little taller than I was, she had brown hair, blue eyes, and she was wearing jeans, combat boots, and a plaid shirt. She then said, "Oh I'm sorry, didn't see where I was going." Then she walked away and she didn't even look at me. "Well, she seems nice," I said quietly.
I looked for my size in the dress and when I finally found it, I looked up to see someone who I never wanted to see. Ever.
"Jordan? What are you doing here?"
"Oh hey babe. I was walking around and happened to see you. Oh and that's a nice dress by the way. Are you buying it for our date?" He said.
"I left Seattle to get away from you. I don't know what you think you're doing here. How did you know that I moved here? Why did you follow me?"
"Audrey, I love you. Give me another chance. Please? I never should've kissed that girl. I never should've done half of the things that I did when we were together. I miss you Audrey please come back with me-" I interrupted him. "No Jordan I will never come back and go to you. All you do is find a girl, lead her on, making her think that you love her, and then you leave her after you get what you want. I know exactly what you want from me, and you're not getting it. You haven't changed at all, and I can tell. So just go away, go back to Seattle, and never come back again. I better not see you anywhere again." After I said that I picked up the dress and walked away. He looked pretty mad, so he started to walk out, and he knocked a rack over and walked casually out of the store, like nothing ever happened.
I hate him so much.
I looked around for something to wear to my date with Will. All I really needed was a shirt, but I couldn't seem to find one of those. So I went up to the check out, and paid for the dress. The cashier looked at my outfit, and she laughed quietly to herself. I quickly glanced down at my outfit, looking at what she was laughing at, but I couldn't tell.
I walked out of the store and quickly found another store. In the display window, I saw the shirt that I was going to wear. It was pink, and it had yellow and orange flowers on it, and it went from pink at the top to orange at the bottom, sort of like ombre. I instantly fell in love with it. So I picked up my size, and the lady at the register said something really weird.
"I would be careful if I were you. I wish you good luck." I looked back at her, and all I saw was a dark shadow. I blinked a few times, and then she was a normal lady again.
** Time skip to the date **
•••••Will's POV•••••
I started to drive over to Audrey's apartment, and then I started thinking. What if she doesn't really like me, and she's just trying to make friends? What if I mess up and do something wrong? What if a giant elephant from the zoo comes and stomps on the restaurant and squishes her and not me? Wait, what? Will, just shut up.
I arrive at her apartment and walk upstairs to her door. I finally get the courage to knock, and a few seconds later, I see her. She looked so beautiful, and I was speechless. I didn't think that anybody could be this beautiful.
I finally manage to say "Wow Audrey, you look, you look beautiful." She lets out a small giggle and blushes. "Thank you, you don't look too bad yourself."
We walk out to my car, and my palms start to get sweaty. The last time that I drove a girl somewhere was with Jamie, my ex girlfriend. And that was when we got in the accident with my little brother.
==Flashback to the accident==
We were driving down the road and we arrived at a stop light. The light turned green, and so I started going forwards. Then I see a car from the other direction, running the stop light, and smashing right into our car. I passed out and woke up in the hospital. Jamie was right next to me, and she then told me news that I never looked forward to hearing. "Will, he didn't survive the crash." I couldn't believe what she just told me, all I could do was cry.
=End of flashback==
I started the car, and all I could do was worry. I couldn't even press the gas pedal. I just sat there.
"Will, are you oka--"
She was interrupted by the sound of screeching tires, followed by a crash.

Hehehe cliffhanger....
So this chapter was sort of all over the place, I'm really tired while writing this, soo yeah I guess that explains why.
So you guys thought this was going to be a date didn't you? Hehehe well it didn't turn out that way... so in my mind I had it planned that they were gonna go on the date, but then this came into my mind. So yeah.
But guysssss were almost at 400 reads holy crap nuggetssssss!!!!!
