Jay's explination

After Beck had left you we're there dumbfounded. She made everything sound so confusing and now you were just there staring at the door. Now debating if you should leave with Alastor right now or just wait for Jay's explanation. It's true you wanted to know who the two siblings were, but what if that resulted in something bad happening? Now that Beck just shoved all kinds of random information at you. Your mind was left to think of the correct order and what her being a hit-women has to do with her parent's death.

And... What was with that new power?

When was she able to pull things out of her hair?

You looked at your own hand and slowly brought it towards your locks of hair and put your hand in it. But nothing happened it just went thought like it normally should. Only just a few strands tangled within your fingers. You pulled your hand away from your hair and ran your fingers through to untangle it if there were any tangles, to begin with. Your hair did kinda get messed up as you were now forced here due to Beck and Jay ruining your date.

You sighed as you placed your hands back onto your lap and continued to wait for Jay. And if he didn't show up in the next two minutes you were leaving and going back to the hotel with Alastor.

It's your choice, right?

You looked at the ceiling and groaned, you got up from the chair you were sitting in and walked up to the door. You were about to reach for the handle but the door opened to reveal Jay. He still had on his forced large smile and his sun staff in hand. He raised an eyebrow at you and a saddened sigh came from the mouth of his floating sun on the staff. Which of course only hand a mouth.

Jay looked at you and into the hallway, he wasn't sure where either Alastor or Beck was at the moment but all he was told was to explain. He was just as confused as you were too be honest.

"Are you gonna stand there or are you gonna tell me what Beck was trying to tell me?" You crossed your arms in front of your chest as you looked up at the tall black-haired male. You turned around and sat back down on your chair as he entered the room and carefully shut the door closed behind him. He took the free seat in front of you and took a few seconds to look around the room then pulling his attention towards you.

He then closed his eyes and his sun had frowned, he seemed sad about something but you didn't know what it could be. "I understand that you may feel confused right now, to be honest, I am as well since Beck only told me to meet you here and explain, nothing more. Though I may have a small understanding as to why I'm here now, and what I must explain to you." Jay opened his eyes and looked at you his suns smiled still faltered into a frown.

"I have a question. How come Beck made everything so... Difficult to understand?! Does she think I'm stupid or something?!" You shouted at Jay as he watched you do so. As soon as you finished your question he just sighed again like he did at the door and looked off to the side. "It's sort of a side effect due to her powers. I know during your power training she seemed to fine but, she practiced for hours preparing what to say to you when you came to familiarize yourself with your powers." Jay explained to you, his gaze slowly went to the floor ever so often looking over towards you.

"And she doesn't think you're stupid, she thinks you're a smart intelligent girl who knows what's right from wrong. Though she doesn't like Alastor and doesn't trust him with you. But she told me she'll do anything to make you happy." Jay said as he patted off some dust from his shoulders. Now just waiting for a response from you. You say there thinking, she's only known your for a few weeks or maybe even a month at least. How can she already care so much about you when you don't even know anything about her? When she doesn't know anything about you?!
