"Now you know why I must return to her?" Loki said. Frigga nodded. "So I can go back?" Loki smiled. "I have never been able to keep you from doing what you want. I can tell she is different. She needs your help. Go live out your life with her darling. I've never seen you so happy." She smiled. "Thank you mother. Truly." Loki hugged her. He looked up and saw Heimdall and Odin standing off in the distance. They nodded to acknowledge each other. "Goodbye mother. I'll return someday. Hopefully with Y/n." He smirked. "Don't get into too much trouble love." She smiled. "Come on mother, I'm the god of mischief. Cut me a little slack." He winked. "Go." She laughed.
"Long live the queen!" The priest said. You rose, the room erupting into applause. You smiled brightly, waving to your new subjects. Thor clapped and hollered from behind you. You turned and grinned. Your new life as the Queen of Asgard began now. And no question about it, the love in your heart was more than enough to be able to carry out your life as the ruler.
Once the festivities had ended, you retreated to Loki's old bedroom. You looked up and saw big black doors, with strange markings all over. You stepped back, seeing the outline of a Phoenix as the big picture. You smiled, soaking in the sight of the doors. The visions had all come true after all. You pushed the doors open.
"You know, when I was imprisoned, my mother always sent me the books I'd already read." You snapped your head up, and saw Loki standing at his bookshelf, flipping through the pages of the book. "Oh my god." Were the only words you could choke out. "My love." He said, walking over to you. You leapt into his arms, sobbing hysterically. "Loki! What the fuck are you doing here?" You cried. "My mother. She saw how much we loved each other. She let me return." He was crying too. "I missed you." You said. "I missed you more." He set you down.
"Loki. Loki I never got to tell you." You reached up to his face, wiping the tears away. "Tell me what?" He said softly. "I love you." You cried more. "I love you more than life itself." You said. "You do?" He smiled. "Yeah!" You laughed. "I love you too." He grinned. "Please don't ever leave me again." You said. "Y/n, I promise I will never ever leave you. Not until it's death that parts us." He said. You finally pulled him down to kiss you. He wrapped his arms around you, embracing the feeling of having you in his arms again.
"And please, no more evil Y/n?" Loki said. You giggled. "Okay." "I love you." He smiled. "I love you more."
You opened your eyes. You laid on the floor in your room. Shaking, you sat up and opened your door, attempting to stand.
You saw Loki open his door, and walk out. "Loki..." you whispered.
He turned around, raven hair strewn about. "Y/n?" He looked confused. You sank to your knees, unable to support your own weight anymore. "Y/n, what happened? Are you alright?" Wanda came out of her room. "Oh my god, what happened?" She ran over to you. "Dear god you're burning up I can feel you from here." Wanda said. "Wanda, do you think-" "Maybe."
"W-what happened?" You said quietly. "You tell us." Wanda said. You shut your eyes in defeat. "Can I look?" Wanda asked. You nodded your head, and opened your eyes again. Wanda grabbed your hand and began concentrating on your mind.
After a few moments, she opened them, slight shock playing across her features. "What's wrong? What is it?" Loki asked. "She had a vision." Wanda said.
You'd soon come to learn, that reality is often warped in visions. You can't tell what's reality and what's not. You'd fallen asleep, and merely had a dream.
Would any of that actually come to pass?
