I didn't realise how much I had missed being home until we pulled into the drive way. Every wave of emotion I could possibly feel hit me all at once, I think my dad could sense this because he didn't force me to talk when he was building my room or on the drive home.

"Don't freak out but your mum got a bit ahead of herself and she's invited your uncle, auntie, and addy round and she's also cooked a roast dinner" my dad said with a laugh. I felt myself get a little excited over seeing Addy because it has been so long and Landon I could use his words of wisdom when my mind is conflicted the way it is at the moment.

I laughed with my dad as he grabbed my stuff out the car and we walked to the door only to be greeted by my mum who was stood at the door her blonde curls tied back, god she was stunning. Her smile covered her face and her eyes filled with tears, my little brother who actually had grown 6 inches since since I last saw him came running out the door crushing me in the biggest hug. I laughed as we hugged for a little while before my dad started making sarcastic comments.

"Well well look at this women" My uncle Landon joked as I walked through the living room.

"Is that a grey hair I see?" I joked as I hugged him earning a gasp from him.

"Definitely your fathers daughter" he mumbled as he released me from his embrace.

"To right she is, just like her dad aren't you" my dad replied with a sense of proudness you his voice.

"How's college, I bet you have boys falling at your feet" Sophia gushed as she pulled me in for a tight hug.

"As if Hardin would let her" my mum called as she walked into the living room.

"He thinks he's one of them scary dads" my mum joked earning a shut up from my dad.

"Mum does the scaring off the boys dads to friendly with everyone" Addy added I could feel a smile grow on my face as I walked over to hug her.

"No I'm not" Landon said earning a laugh from my mom and a kiss on the cheek from Sophia.

"Your dads been a pussy since before time" my dad added earning a shove from Landon which resulted in my dad landing on his bum. Everyone erupted into laughter and I could feel myself finally let my hair down.

"Back to the question" my aunt Sophie said and I could feel myself becoming nervous "Do you have a boyfriend?" She asked wiggling her eye brows. I gulped and looked at my mom who nodded for me to be open.

"No..." I started and my dad raised his eyebrows.

"I like someone" I replied and my mum smiled looking at my dad who's facial expression was not too impressed.

"You like someone? Does he like you back?" My aunt asked and I felt my cheeks flame red.

"He does" I replied sinking into the couch. My mum
Laughed and kissed my dads cheek telling him to stop being so grumpy, he insisted we would finish this talk later and I gulped nodding slowly.

I should have kept my mouth shut especially seen as I didn't know where Axel and I stood after our previous discussion. Dinner went quickly and before I knew it we was saying good bye to everyone, it is amazing what spending time with family could do for the mind. I managed to avoid the talk of boys with my dad and headed straight to my room where everything was as I left it. My mum had laid some girly things on the bed for me like a face and hair mask and some new nail polish and I smiled lightly. I threw myself down on my bed and looked up at the ceiling where my thoughts wondered to Axel. I glanced down at my phone and saw I had a new text message.
