A month or so had past, Joshua had settled in and had started working at the local hospital as a general surgeon. While he was on lunch break his phone buzzed

(Jeonghan) Jisoo can you come over to my house tonight? I'm cooking dinner and i have something to tell you.

(joshua) sure, i'll come by at 8?

(Jeonghan) yay ur finally aren't busy :>

(Joshua) i'm outside, i can't find the doorbell its dark
open the door quick its freezing

Jeonghan ran to the door to greet Joshua,
" it's not even that cold out " Jeonghan stated
" you know i get cold easily " Joshua replied
" you're right " Jeonghan answered

Jeonghan lifts the pot and reveals some delicious pasta
" someone's favourite hee hee. " Jeonghan chirped
" do you like pasta Chan? " Joshua sarcastically teased
" i mean, i think we all know who's favourite it is. " Chan replied while signalling to Jeonghan
After eating Chan was doing the dishes and cleaning up , Jeonghan asked Joshua to meet him outside.

" I want to tell you my crazy plan. You're the only one i can ever say this to so if you decline i would still do it alone. " Jeonghan started
" What is it? Is it the thing? "
" Yes. I've trained a long time for this. "
" it's dangerous, not only for you, what about Chan? Does he know? "
" Of course not he's still a baby "
" But you'll get hurt "
" that's where you come in, you'll help me. You will, right Josh? "
" It's not like i can say no "
" you know me too well "

2005 ( Blossom League Boarding School )

" Whats that Joshua? Are you making those stupid bracelets? A bully laughed out loud
" just go away " Joshua got up from his bed but got shoved back onto it.
" what do you want? " sighed Joshua, jittery
" i want you to throw away those bracelets ! " the bully replied, now all his friends are laughing at Joshua
Just like that the bully smacked the box of beads off Joshua's bed, the beads sprawled all over the floor, the colours mixing.
Joshua's eyes teared up. He's silent now, nothing to reply.
" what are you going to do about it? huh Joshua? ask your doctor dad to come fix you up? " the bully laughed
Joshua was truly silent now, there was nothing to say that can save himself
" Hey! " a yell broke the silence
" At least he has a cool hobby, not like you- you losers, just look at you, what can you do? Joshua's bracelets look better than your- your stupid face. Don't bring his dad into this, just jerk off. " a young Jeonghan angrily defended
the bully looked dumbfounded by the weird insults thrown at them and left.
" hey, you okay? " young Jeonghan asked
" yeah " young Joshua replied
" um do you want a bracelet? i finished this one before they came, its quite big though, i think you can wear this until you're older " young Joshua blabbed, making Jeonghan smiley and grinny
" Thank you so much, its late, you should go get supper, i can clean this up for you. " Jeonghan offered
" no its okay " Joshua insisted
" no no if you don't go i won't leave " Jeonghan threatened
" then don't leave " Joshua replied, trying to appear threatening
" okay i won't leave " Jeonghan replied softly with a warm gaze
the spent the night picking up and sorting the beads together

a late night, a teary Jeonghan packing his bag to go home. his tears blocking his eyesight, he fell on his knees and leaned to his bed, weeping to himself. He had just received the news of his family, his family driver was on their way to bring him and Chan home for a few weeks for the funeral and to mourn, Chan didn't know what was happening as they haven't broke the news to him.
tears were streaming down his face, his family were all dead, not even a mom and dad left, no last words, no apologies. the thought just truly ate him, the thought of wanting to die to be with them, to just jump out the open window and just end it, this agony.
a warm hand held Jeonghan's wrist, the figure had sat down beside him.
" im so sorry " Joshua apologised, teary eyed his voice was breaking
Jeonghan stopped crying for a few seconds and just hugged Joshua with all the energy left in him, his tears wetting Joshua's pjs
" you'll help me, you will right Josh? " Jeonghan croaked
" of course Jeonghan " Joshua warmly replied
Joshua knew Jeonghan had to act tough in front of Chan, he was the last person Chan had so Joshua decided to be the shoulder for Jeonghan to lean on.
Chan showed up to Jeonghan's room with his bags, Jeonghan just looked at him with plain sorrow. He wiped his tears and gave him a bitter sweet smile.
" let's go home Chan " Jeonghan smiled, his voice was scratched up and his eyes were red and puffy.
" bye Joshua " Jeonghan bidded.
Joshua waved back from the other end of the hallway.
