"It seems to me that it's someone else's plan. Someone who wants to turn over the chessboard."

WHO IS that someone? Now that Luthor denied this incident as being part of his plan, pwede ko na siyang i-cross out sa aking list of suspects.

Could it be someone else that we weren't aware of? A hidden character who hasn't made their presence felt until now? Someone acting in the shadows. That's possible. We can't narrow our scope based only on who we know at the moment.

Could it be Rosetta? She's a snake that can shed her skin whenever it's convenient for her. Well, I guess a chameleon would also be fitting for her. Nagawa niya kaming paikutin noon, magagawa niya ulit kaming paikutin ngayon, kahit na si Luthor.

Could it be the thirty party? If there's someone who's been messing with the chessboard, that's gonna be him. He possibly had something to do with Augustus' death. He had something to do with the stealing of the hard drive. Hindi malayong nakita niya ang file ni Luthor doon at naisipang i-leak ito ngayon. I thought he hasn't made any copy of the contents? Well, I'd be a fool to easily believe in his lie.

Aside from the "who," there are two why's that we needed to answer: Why now? Luthor's secret could have been leaked during the week that there's an expose threat. 'Yon na siguro ang perfect timing para ilabas ang barahang 'to.

Also, why Luthor? There are hundreds of folders in the hard drive. Did the leaker randomly choose his folder or was it intentional?

I hope we'd find the answers soon.

"Piece of advice, never allow yourselves to be interviewed by the campus police without my presence," Tita Frigette said, raising her right forefinger as she turned to us. "I'm offering you my free legal service. Morgan is a good friend of my husband, and they're insufferably stubborn men. Only I can knock some sense into them."

I must admit that I'm somewhat amazed by how she stands her ground not only to a scary police chief, but also to her husband. Naaalala ko pa noong kinompronta niya ang daddy nina Loki at Luthor. Walang nagawa ang Mendez patriarch kundi pagbigyan ang kahilingan niya.

"I don't know the full story yet, but can you brief me on what's going on here?" she asked.

Ako na sana ang sasagot kaso naunahan ako ni Jamie. She quickly raised her right hand as if this was some kind of recitation in a classroom.

"Bale tita, nag-post kasi ang student publication namin ng article na diumano'y connected ang aking future brother-in-law—este si Luthor—kay M. Hindi ko po alam kung gaano kayo ka-aware sa kanya, but it really painted your son in a bad light."

At least, she saved me from the trouble of summarizing the whole fiasco in two sentences.

"May katotohanan ba ang nakasulat sa article?" Tita Frig casted a glance on his eldest son. "Are you involved with the bad guy?"
