"What's wrong with you Chae?"

Dahyun asked while I emptied every glass and bottles I could find in the table.

"What? We're having a party right. I'm just enjoying. You should drink too. Here."

I handed her a glass of vodka that I filled myself. She accepted it and put it back on the table.

"Hey, hey. Why did you do that?"

I tried to reach out for the glass again but she just moved it farther from me.

I got pissed. I am blaming the alcohol.

"The fuck! Isn't this party for me? Why are you stopping me? Huh? Dahyun??" I snapped and yelled at Dahyun.

Jeongyeon who was singing at that time, turned off the audio of the karaoke and went to us.

"Hey, calm down Chae. You're drunk."

"I'm not!"

"C-chae."

Tzuyu, who's sitting beside me, held my arms. But I shook her hand off and faced her.

"What? Are you also stopping me? Tsk. No one is really on my side huh?" I shoved Tzuyu away and walked out. But Mina stood on my way to block me.

"You're drunk Chae. Just calm down, okay?" She held my face in effort to calm me.

I clenched my fist and bit my tongue. I can't shed tears here. There's no way I'll break down just because of her touch. I slapped her hand away and glared at her.

"Don't try to touch me again...Unnie."

I said then walked passed by her. But my head spinned and lost my balance.

Before I could totally fell on the floor, the door opened and the face of someone that gave me comfort for a year in Paris, came running to catch me.

"Chae!"

She managed to catch me on time.

"Yeri...take me out from here. Please." I said as I buried my face on her chest and cried.

"Of course."

While hugging, she looked at the people behind me. "I'm Yeri, and I'll be taking good care of Chae."

-----
I went to school at the afternoon. I am still hangover but it's bearable.

I saw Dahyun and Jeongyeon on the hallway of our department building. I went to them.

"Hey." I greeted and smiled awkwardly.

"Chae! How are you feeling?" Jeongyeon asked.

"I'm fine now." I scratched my head. "I'm sorry about last night. It has been a long time since I tasted alcohol and I got a little bit excited."

Dahyun punched me lightly on my shoulder. "A little bit? The heck with that. I almost can't recognize you last night."

"That was my first time seeing you snapped while drinking Chae." Jeongyeon added.

"Me too."

Dahyun agreed with her. Well, I was like that on my first 3 months in Paris. I always got drunk at night and find myself in trouble almost every damn time. But I can't tell them that so I just smiled at them.

"By the way, how did you and Yeri became friends? She's from the Business Ad Department and I don't remember you being that close with her."

"We met in Paris when she had her vacation." I answered Dahyun's question. That wasn't a lie, but not the full truth either.

"Oh, I see. She's really worried about you last night. We cannot accompany her while driving you home since she's got lots of bodyguards with her, we feel like we aren't really needed."

Jeongyeon said while laughing. Yeri made quite an entrance then.

"Tzuyu-yah!"

Dahyun suddenly called out. Tzuyu came towards us. I clenched my fist.

"Sobered up?" She asked.

I nodded. "Sorry about last night."

"It's fine. That was the alcohol, not you Chae."

"That was me." I wanted to say, but I stopped myself.

"I'll head to the workroom now. I have to do some sketches for the Prelims." I bailed myself out.

"I'll come with you."

"No need!" I unconsciously blocked Tzuyu right away.

She's surprised with my sudden reaction.

"I-I m-mean, I wanted to do some sketches alone."

She nodded. "All right then. Guess I'll do mine next time."

I smiled fakely then immediately went to the workroom after that.

But after 2 long hours of sitting, my sketchbook is still empty. Just like me.

-----
"Hey! I heard you're friends with the main cheerleader."

Seulgi asked while we're changing.

"Main cheerleader? Who?"

She stopped changing and looked at me like I asked a very ridiculous question.

"What?"

"Are your head only full with your paintings and basketball? Don't you give attention to others?"

I shrugged.

"You're helpless Chae. Let me rephrase the question then. Are you friends with Yeri?"

Yeri?

"Yes. Why? Is she the main cheerleader?" That was supposed to be a joke but Seulgi fell silent.

What the?

"Is she?"

She just shook her head and went ahead of me.

I really didn't know!

------
The inter-collegiate preliminaries started last week. It is now our turn. We are currently headed to the opposite schools gymnasium.

"Didn't know you're a cheerleader."

Me and Yeri sat together inside the bus.

"Thought you knew. I've been on it on the same year you joined the team."

"Really?"

"Tsk. Anyways..." She tapped the two people in front of us. Two ladies turned their heads. "This is Nayeon and Jihyo, my friends and co-cheerleaders. Girls, this is Chae."

I waved at them. They giggled and said "Nice meeting you Chae" in unison.

"Ohhh, you have friends?"

She glared at me. "I'm not a loner like you."

I chuckled.
