I parked my scooter and took my phone off from my pocket.

"Already here."

I sent Mina that message and waited. I came to pick her up again as usual. I was happily whistling while looking around when the gate opened. But it wasn't Mina. It was one of their housemaid that I am familiar with.

"Chaeyoung-ssi?"

She looked surprised and confused upon seeing me.

I looked behind her to see if Mina went out together with her, but she's not there.

"Yes, good morning." I smiled and greeted the maid. "Is Mina done preparing? Can you tell her that I'm already here?" I told the maid but she just looked puzzled.

"But Chaeyoung-ssi, Ms. Mina already left a few minutes ago."

Huh? She left?

"Really?"

The maid nodded and threw something on the nearby trash.

I checked my phone but didn't see any messages from her. I dialed her number but she's not answering. She even turned it off when I called the second time.

Though confused about the situation, I just bowed to the maid and thanked her before leaving.

----
I haven't heard about Mina until lunch. I'm a bit worried now. I remembered what she asked me yesterday.

Is she?

I shook my head harshly. That's impossible! She can't do that to me, right? We just got back.

But Mina is the type of person who could do that. The way her eyes looked at me yesterday and the way she bid goodbye, it's like she won't be seeing me in a while.

My heart pounded at that thought. I clenched my fist unconsciously.

She started acting weird after she talked with Nayeon and Jihyo. Does the two of them have anything to do with this?

I was so focused with my thoughts that Jeongyeon needs to tap my shoulder to catch my attention.

"You're phone is ringing Chae. You should really pick it up now or else you'll get killed on the spot." She said and looked at the near table.

Looks like those students are studying. Shit!

I quickly answered the call without looking at the caller ID.

"Chae..."

I stood up right away upon hearing her voice.

"Where are you?!"

I shouted. Didn't care about those students from the other table.

I heard her chuckled from the other line. "You miss me that much?"

Understanding my silence with that half-hearted joke she just said, she cleared her throat.

"I went home. I suddenly doesn't feel well and didn't realized my phone was dead up until now. Sorry if I worried you Chae."

And that calmed me down. I was just thinking too much huh? Curse my imagination!

"Okay. Just rest then. I'll go and see you later after class."

"Hmm-hmm."

----
I knocked thrice before entering her room.

I'm at Mina's house. I quickly drove here as soon as my class finished. The maids and guards knew me already so I was able to enter the place without a problem.
