"Oh! Someone's outside."

Dahyun said and extended her neck to peek.

"I'll go an-"

"No. You stay. I'll go and check. Maybe it's just a delivery. Tend to your friends Chae!"

Mom glared at me before going outside. I rolled my eyes and coolly sat on my chair.

I looked at Tzuyu who's just silently eating. I wonder if she could still chew her food if she saw Sana later.

My mom came back inside. Alone.

"The car left before I could open the gate. Maybe they just got the wrong address."

My brows furrowed. That wasn't Sana?

My phone lit and an sms from Sana appeared.

"Sorry Chae. Got an emergency call from the store. Let's just meet later. My treat."

I see.

I typed a reply to her before asking my way out to take a dip. I really need a bath now.

-----
We just got done playing basketball from our yard. I have a small half court made here to practice during my free time.

"We can't really win against Chae!"

Dahyun whined. She's still catching her breath after a 3 rounds of game.

"But we managed to score a few. That's considered a win for me."

"Ahhhh, you're such a goody-goody Jeong."

Jeongyeon laughed at Dahyun's comment on her. Well, it might not be obvious but Dahyun is really competitive. She hates losing more than anything else.

I tapped the shoulder of the quiet Tzuyu beside me.

"We are really strong as a team! Right?"

I said with all smiles. I wonder if she's still awkward around me. She seems to be always in deep thought since earlier. She's originally a quiet person but not this much.

She composed herself and smiled back.

"Yeah. So strong that Dubu will never win against us. Not ever!"

Dahyun just pouted as Tzuyu sticked her tongue at her.

"One more!"

We all looked at Dahyun when she suddenly shouted and picked the ball.

Is she not tired at all?

I took off my jersey and walked on my way back to our house. Tzuyu did the same and followed me. Jeongyeon sighed and walked behind us too.

"Yah! Let's play again! Hey! Guyssss!!"

I stopped walking and turned to her.

"I'm exhausted already Dahyun. I also don't have all day. I need to do some errands later tonight so I need some rest now. You can play by yourself if you insist."

"Hmpf!"

She snorted but followed us inside anyways. I can't with this grown-up woman acting like a kid.

The three of them ate lunch before leaving my house. My mom even baked some brownies for them. What a bunch of lucky punks!

----
I couldn't paint!

I need some inspiration for my piece. I picked up my keys and decided to drove around.

I need  to freshen up my mind. I want to paint something which is not usual. Something new. I already painted 2 pieces this past month and I felt like I did it hastily.
