Finale

Jeongyeon saw Mina's car entering Chaeyoung's condominium. 

She followed her as per Dahyun's instruction. She kept her distance. 

She was so focused on following Mina stealthily that she didn't notice someone approaching from her side.

"Aww!" 

Nayeon grunted as she was pushed hard on the floor. She already had a bad day and whoever may this person be, he/she will receive her wrath.

"Oh! Sorry. Sorry, I didn't see you. Are you alright?" 

A familiar voice spoke while she fixed herself. She also saw a hand offering a help for her. She accepted it and was about to lash out, but got tongue tied when she recognized who the person in front of her was.

"Jeongyeon-ssi?" She failed to hide the excitement in her voice when she asked that.

Jeongyeon, who's also busy looking back at Mina from a distance, got shocked on the woman's question. 

This person knows her?

She gave the woman a glance and got surprised as well upon recognizing who it was.

Her heart jumped and quickly released Nayeon's hand.

"What is she doing here?" She thought.

But that thought got interrupted by the ding of the elevator. She was returned back to what she is supposed to do. And she can't waste time standing in front of Nayeon right now and do some catch-ups.

So in desperation, she took her phone out and slid it in, in Nayeon's coat pocket. Then she snatched her phone from her and ran after Mina.

"Hey! What are you-"

Nayeon did not finish her question as Jeongyeon already rode the elevator and went up. She then took the latter's phone out and stared at it.

Her lips arched to form a smile as she looked at the phone she's holding and back to the closed elevator that Jeongyeon rode earlier.

Mina cried herself out inside Chaeyoung's abandoned condo unit.

She can't move. She just sat on the floor and let her tears fall.

"What did I do wrong Chae? Are you really leaving me like this? After everything?" Mina asked softly in the air. 

She kept throwing questions though she knew that Chae won't hear it. 

She was still weeping when she heard loud bangs and small voices. She wanted to ignore it but the voices slowly became louder.

Though she was still shedding tears, she gathered her strength and stood up. She then walked outside Chaeyoung's room and went in the kitchen. 

Mina isn't sure where are those voices are coming from. It's too soft to figure out where the source is.

So she looked around inside. 

"Why do I feel like this room is so unfamiliar? It's Chaeyoung's unit but it doesn't seem so." Mina thought to herself when her eyes moved around inside.

She wiped her tears to get a clearer view.

"The cupboard, the paint, the smell and the appliances are all Chae's. But why am I feeling uneasy and unfamiliar about the place? Like it's a stranger's unit and not Chae's."

Mina's deep thoughts was disturbed by another loud bang. And this time, she knew where it came from. 

She walked her way out of the room and looked outside.
