I looked at Tzuyu who's seating at the porch.

Yeri already left a few minutes ago after telling us everything she knew. I was shocked. But not as shocked as Tzuyu. She's so astounded by everything that she just broke down and sat on the ground.

I walked towards her direction and sat beside her. I don't know what to say actually. I just sat there and stayed quiet.

"How can this be? How can Dad do such a cruel thing?" She asked.

I clenched my fist. I also have the same question.

My heart ached thinking that Chae had to suffer for his greed and selfishness.

"What are you two doing here?"

We both lifted up our head and saw a surprised Chaeyoung standing before us. She's holding a plastic bag full of fruits.

We quickly stood up and greeted her.

"I'm sorry Ch- Hyung Soo-ssi. Ms. Yerim brought us here earlier to show the place around. She just left for some urgent matters. And we're also leaving now. Right, Mina?"

I nodded without breaking my stare at Chae.

"Let's go Mina." Tzuyu walked out but stopped when she's beside Chae.

"I'll see you again." She said and finally left. She didn't wait for me and just drove away with her car.

"You're not leaving?"

That question snapped me out to reality. "Uhh. Yeah. Y-yes."

I started walking slowly while she still just stood there watching me.

Every step I took is regretful. I don't wanna leave just yet. I finally saw her after how many years yet this is the situation we're having.

I'm a stranger to her. But she's not to me. She's still...my woman.

I already passed by her and I heard her walking inside as well. I couldn't help but get teary-eyed.

I missed her.

But then a warm hand grabbed my wrist and stopped me. I quickly turned around and saw her smiling at me.

"I bought quite a lot of fruits. Could you spare some time and eat it with me? It's kinda lonely eating alone."

The tears that I suppressed fell on its own.

Chae walked closer to me and wiped my tears with her thumb.

"And also, can I ask something about that person whom you're shedding that tears for. She's making me curious for some reason."

----
We're at her kitchen.

She's washing and slicing the fruits she bought on the sink while I sat on a high chair in front of the counter.

"What fruit do you like to have Ms. Mina?" She asked without looking at me.

"Apples."

"Alright. Apples then."

I looked around and saw paintings hanged above the cupboards. It's all framed.

"Here."

I didn't notice her already in front of me and handing me a fork with a sliced apple.

"Thanks."

I took it and had a bite right away.

"You liked that painting?" She asked and pointed the painting she saw me looking at earlier.

"Well, I actually like them all." I answered, without bits of lie.

They all looked exactly as what I had in keeps when she "died" 5 years ago.

She chuckled. "You sure know how to flatter an artist Ms. Mina."

I couldn't reply right away. I just stared at her laughing face. It's been ages since I last heard her laugh. It just made me genuinely happy to finally able to hear it again.

"What? Do I have dirt on my face?" She asked when she noticed my stares.

I smiled. "No."

"Ohh. Oh well, can you tell me about that "Chae" person then? What is she like? Is she your friend?"

I shook my head.

"Oh, your sister? What happened to her by the way?"

"She's my lover." I answered while looking straight to her eyes.

"O-oh. That's surprising. I thought that "Chae" is a woman. My bad."

I smiled widely with that note from her.

"She is."

Her eyes opened widely after hearing that. She blinked a few times before the information totally sinked in.

Then she laughed. "Silly me. Of course, the name "Chae" is obviously a woman. What am I thinking?"

"It's Chaeyoung." I corrected her.

"Huh?"

"Her full name is Chaeyoung. Son Chaeyoung."

She paused upon hearing the name. Her forehead formed a straight line and her pupils dilated. But that only happened in just brief seconds. Her face returned to normal and she began eating again.

----
"It's saddening that I'll have to bid goodbye to you now Ms. Mina."She said as she walked me out of her house.

I wanted to stay but I have to return to the resort now. I received an emergency call from my manager and I am needed there ASAP.

"Uhhh..."

I stopped walking. And that made her stop as well. She looked at me.

"Can I visit you again Cha- Hyung Soo-ssi?" I really need to get used to her new name now.

She smiled in response. "Of course."

We exchanged numbers and then I left from her house with a hopeful heart.

If she forgot me. Then I'll make new memories with her. I'll make sure to have her back again.

I'll make her fall in love with me. And this time, she'll fall so hard that she won't dare to forget me again. Never again.

----
That I said.

But here I am. Stuck on my work for one whole week!

I sighed and looked at the files I needed to check. It doubled up because Tzuyu asked for a leave with no exact date of returning. She said she needs to do things that would make everything right. And I supported her. The other girls too.

We already told them everything we knew from Yeri. They were so mad at Tzuyu's Dad, and I can't blame them.

I loathed her father. So much that I wanted to just barge in on his office and slap him endlessly.

But that would do no good. We need to things properly and legally. And we also need solid evidence against him. Yeri's statement isn't enough.

I just hope Tzuyu could handle this without breaking down. He's her father after all.

I stretched my back for a while and took a rest. I was leaning on my chair while my eyes are closed when someone suddenly spoke.

"You never called."

I opened my eyes and got shocked to see the person I'm thinking of, standing there while grinning.

"Hyung Soo-ssi!" I exclaimed.

"Yes Ms. Mina. It's me. Can I check in?"
