Diana's POV

And you don't ever notice how I stare when we're alone
Or wonder why I keep you on the phone
I've made it obvious

"She likes you, you know?" Jen whispered, getting my attention away from Franki.

"What? Who?" I turned to face her.

She rolled her eyes and smiled, "Franki. You dumb-dumb." She playfully hit me in the head.

"What are you talking about, Jen?"

"Come on, Diana." She smirked, "I'm a girl and I can smell jealousy from miles away." She subtly nods her head towards Franki's direction. "Didn't you notice she's been shooting daggers at us ever since I came here?"

I glanced back at Franki whose gaze were fixed at the tv screen.

"I mean, she's probably not aware she's doing it, but that's how it is when you like someone. You unconsciously do things that give away your emotions."

I looked back at Jen.

"And this song?" She pointed upwards, "This is her, basically confessing her feelings to you."

"She likes you and you like her too." She smiled, "No! Actually, you know what? I think you're already in love with her—"

I immediately covered Jen's mouth with my hand, "Shh! Someone might hear you." I could feel her stifling a laugh, "And how can you even say that?" I suddenly looked back at Franki and saw her glare at us before shifting her gaze back at the screen.

I let go of Jen.

"See that look?" She raised a brow, trying to make a point, "And... you should see your scared to death look." She laughed softly upon seeing my face.

I gave her a questioning look in return.

She heaved a deep sigh and turned serious, "You go out of your way to make her comfortable, you're scared to upset her, you're always smiling when you're with her, and when she's not looking, you secretly take pictures and videos of her singing." She raised her eyebrow, "Need I go on?"

I slightly shook my head, "It's not going to happen, Jen. Franki's—"

"What? Straight?" She cut me off. "Come on, Diana. Don't give me that, 'Franki's straight' reasoning. You know that's not how it works." She put her hand over mine, "The world is round and the possibilities are endless. You of all people should know that."

I let out a soft smile and glanced back at Franki who just finished singing. We all clapped our hands and I waited for her to look at me, but she never did.

"Both of you secretly like each other. But at least Franki's doing something about it now." Jen leaned closer, "What about you, Dee?"

I looked back at her.

"I'm just saying, if you don't do something about it soon, you're gonna regret it."

She slightly tapped me on my shoulder and left.

I looked at Franki who's now sitting beside Kiara. They were on a video call with their high school friend and I guess Franki took that as an opportunity to distance herself from me.

I don't know what's going on inside her head. I need to talk to her.

I shuffled in my seat a couple of times while thinking about what I'm going to say to her.
