Franki's POV

I opened the drawer of my bedside table and took out my old phone. Since my accident, I haven't been able to use or open it because I forgot its passcode along with other important information and people in my life.

But now, everything's clear to me. I finally remember every little thing in my life, including the passcode of my phone. A smile instantly registered on my face as I gracefully typed the six-digit passcode— a combination of Diana and I's birthday and our anniversary.

I shook my head in amazement as I finally unlocked it. I immediately went to my gallery and saw the last photos I took before the accident— a selfie with Maza at the travel fair, a picture of Camp Sunset's brochure, and other random things. I browsed a bit more and found a photo of me and Sky at his cousin's wedding. I also saw a beautiful picture of the night sky, with the moon and stars— the one I took the night Sky broke up with me. I smiled once again at the recollection and I'm amazed at how my life has changed since then.

I closed my photos app and went on to my notes.

There I saw a couple of locked notes and I suddenly felt this hollow feeling in my chest. I knew what these notes are. These are the messages I wanted to send to Diana after we broke up. This was right after the grad party when I decided to cut off our communication. It took a lot of self-control not to send these to her because I had to stand by my decision and I knew back then that if I send just one message to her, it will only get harder for the both of us.

I went outside to my living room and looked outside the window as I thought about Diana. It has been a week since she and Jen left for Singapore for the latter's series of tests. But unlike before, Diana and I got to talk before she left.

---Flashback---

"You're leaving tomorrow right?" I asked.

Diana nods her head, "Our flight's at eleven in the morning. Are you gonna be okay here?"

"Don't worry about me, Diana," I let out a soft smile, "I'll be fine."

"By the way, how did your dad react when he found out that you've regained your memories?"

"Of course he was so happy but he was bit a disappointed that I didn't tell him," I paused, "But I totally understand his reaction as well as Kiara's. It was totally wrong of me to hide that important information from the people I love." I emphasized the last word and looked into her eyes as I said that.

She tried to suppress a smile and nodded her head, "Well, I'm glad everything's worked out fine. I just dropped by to make sure you're okay before I leave."

We both fell silent for a while then after a few minutes, she decided to break the silence.

"Well, I'll get going now," she stood up from the couch and made her way towards the door.

"Take care of yourself, Diana. Send my regards to Jen," I leaned in to give her a tight embrace, "I'm gonna miss you."

"I'll miss you too, Franki," she kissed me on the cheek and opened the door.

Then she stopped and faced me again, "Franki, I hope that one day, you'll be brave enough to fight for the things that make you happy— whether or not that includes me."

---End of Flashback---

I glanced at my phone again and decided to open a note from three years ago.
