Franki's POV

"Mmm... Smells good," I sniffed as I walked towards our dining table, "What's for breakfast?"

"Morning Franki! We have pancakes with bacon!" Lou greeted me.

"Wow!" I sat on my chair and my eyes lit up at the sight of the scrumptious meal in front of me, "Looks yum!"

"Yeah it's really good," Andre nodded his head as he munched on his food, "Diana made it herself."

"Oh," I saw Diana suppressing a smile before she turned her back to go to the kitchen.

Had the kiss never happened, I probably would've complimented her pancakes right away but unfortunately, the kiss made things awkward between us. Or maybe it's just me.

I started eating the pancakes she made. It's really good; so fluffy and tasty, just the way I like it. Even the crispy strips of bacon were cooked to perfection.

While eating, Mae and I started talking about the activities that the camp had planned for us for the day. Then I saw Diana coming out of the kitchen, pushing a small trolley.

"Wow! Anong meron Diana? Why are you the one serving us today?" Andre asked.

"Well you guys have less than a week left here and I just want to maximize our time together and to get to know each other more," she glanced at me and gave me a meaningful smile which I just ignored.

Diana's aware that I am deliberately ignoring her because of our kiss the other night. She didn't do anything wrong, really, but I have my own reasons why I have to avoid her. Somehow, I feel guilty because she doesn't really know the truth why I'm doing this but at the same time, I couldn't help but enjoy whatever this is. I'm at a point where I feel like I can do whatever I want and still, I know Diana wouldn't be mad at me.

She tried to approach me yesterday a couple of times but I was quick to dodge her every time she did. She even tried to do things to get my attention— which I honestly find cute but will never admit to her; but sorry to say, Diana can't bring my walls down.

I was happily munching on a strip of bacon when I almost jumped from my seat when I felt a tap on my shoulder. Diana was now beside me, along with her trolley.

"Franki, coffee, tea or... milk?" she asked.

They were all looking at me so I had to act normal, "Milk."

She poured milk into a glass and then put it in front of me, "Here you go. That's almond milk, by the way."

She didn't look at me nor wait for me to respond. Instead, she continued serving the beverages to the others.

I took the glass of milk and drank from it.

Yum. This milk's really good.

I looked at my plate and suddenly realized something: I've been eating and drinking all my favorites for breakfast— from the fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon and almond milk that were all prepared by Diana. I know it's probably just a coincidence, but this feels as if Diana knows me well enough to prepare these.

I subtly glanced at her who was now serving a cup of coffee to Andre. Then Lou slightly elbowed me so I turned my head to my right to face her. I was listening intently to whatever she was saying when I heard Diana speak.

"Julie what about you? Coffee, tea or me?"

I almost strained my neck when I abruptly turned my head towards their direction.
