1 week later

"Alright, thank you." Melanie dropped the phone, sighing in relief. "Gaden! Come here!" It wasn't long until she heard footsteps thundering in the house. He turned around the corner, irritated that his sleep was interrupted. "What?" he groaned.

"They managed to track down the man." Gaden's eyes widened in shock. This was the moment he was waiting for. He prayed every night and day for this moment to come. "H-How?" he asked, impressed at the skills of the guards in the police station.

"One week ago, a man was driving on a highway when he saw the van in front of him shaking, like, there was a struggle inside. So he had a gut feeling. He felt that he had to picture the van's license number. And... what he did helped with their investigation. Tonight, they plan on rescuing him."

Gaden's legs wobbled until his legs lost the strength to stand. He sat on the counter, smiling in relief. "Damon... son... please, be safe."

LINE BREAK

"Please, please... just kill me." Damon's voice echoed throughout the room, fortunately not enough for the the man to hear. He felt blood leaking on his rear, cringing at the feeling. He wished he didn't enter the playground. He wished he hadn't gone outside. He wished he stayed in the house. If he did that, then... he wouldn't be here... suffering.

The past week for him was torture. Every time the man would enter, he would get violated. All of his cries, all of his screams, all of his pleas for help... hadn't been heard. It only made it worse when the man told him he was his personal toy. Shuddering at the thought, he blinked his eyes away, trying to get that thought out of his mind.

"You will be fine. You can do this."

Gasping, he pushed himself off the ground. He shuffled his head side to side, looking for the voice. Instead of being scared, the voice actually calmed him down. "W-Where are you?" he asked desperately, wishing he would get saved.

"Inside you."

Frowning, he scratched his head in thought. Thinking he was possessed, he started breathing erratically. "Have I gone crazy?"

"Maybe. But I'm not a ghost. I'm only here to help you."

He grabbed his head, trying to make the voice go away. He still felt like it was there. He pinched himself in the cheeks, trying to see if he was hallucinating, if the voice was something he made up. "Who are you?" he whispered suspiciously, fearing the man would hear him.

"I'm merely another you."

...

"What?" He was dumbfounded. Thinking this experience finally made him crazy, he frantically shaked his head.

"If you want to erase me, you can't."

Ignoring what it said, he continued to shake his head. Once that didn't work, he pinched himself in the cheeks hard to see if this was some sort of hallucination. He was so busy in his own little world, he didn't hear the door creaking.

"Someone's coming."

What it said snapped him out of his thoughts. He frantically looked around the room, searching for a weapon. A blade, a gun, a knife... hell, even a pillow! Anything he can get to defend himself! What he saw at the door was a woman, probably a couple years older than him. She had blonde hair that covered her forehead. She had blue eyes that looked empty. She was wearing a regular, purple shirt with shorts.

Her eyes eventually landed on him, her look making him retreat back to the wall. "A kid? Wha..." she looked down and noticed blood splattered on the floor. Her eyes widening, she said, "So I'm not the only one who was tortured." He looked at her face and noticed the light in her eyes came back.
