I was in fact surprised that my accusations were correct. Today did go by fast which made me smile. So here I was going home so I coud grab some things before I went to Leo.
April and I are basically best friends. We hang out at school any chance we get and out of school with the turtles. We have been together so much that we say things at the same time. Even though I only hung out with them for a few days it still meant a lot. There is no time limit on friendship.
I walked home now, as said before. I had a smile on my face the whole time. I was so flipping excited to learn to fight using a Katana or two.
I rushed in my apartment building and to my apartment. I basically called it my apartment becuase my mother was never home. I rolled my eyes at the thought and grabbed an apple as I passed the kitchen. I placed it in my large duffel bag, along with a water bottle. I grabbed a pair of clothes, which consisted of purple skinny jeans with holes, a black pullover with the lyrics 'Everybody wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to die.' in cursive, and my beat up combat boots. I placed those in my large duffel bag and looked around to see if I forgot something. Tsukiko sat patiently watching me as I searched.
"Fine you can come too." I said with a roll of my eyes. She hopped down and sat on my duffel bag and peered up at me as if to say go. I rolled my eyes once again but did as told. I went to the sewer and popped the lid off like usual. Wait how would I get this on?
"Okay Honour, you can do this." I said to myself. I placed the duffel bag down with a content Tsukiko sitting on it. I sighed and grabbed the pipe which was still in the hole. I climbed the later then pushed off the ceiling as the heavy sewer cap slid into place; however, it cause me to fall the five feet and land on my bum with a hard thump.
I sighed in annoyance and got up. I slid my duffel bag on my shoulder and began the fifteen minute walk to my friends.
I arrived as usual. I knocked on the wall three times to signal it was me. I couldn't tell if someone was coming see as it was sound proof, so I waited patiently. Soon enough Leo opened the wall for me and I came in with a thankful smile.
Tsukiko hopped off and looked at me in question.
"Mikey!" I yelled up to him seeing as he was in his room sense his wasn't in the living or kitchen area.
"Yeah?" I heard a muffled voice come from behind his closed door.
"Tsukiko is here!" I began walking with Leo to the dojo but stopped to hear a squelling Mikey come down the steps. Tsukiko sat still as he ran to her and picked her up.
"Hey Tsukiko! Want to go watch some T.V?" he questioned eagerly. I laughed and finished walking into the dojo where Leo propped the door open. I gave a thankful smile once again. I still had my sweats on from today so he probably thought I would be training in this. I sat the duffel bag down and brought out my water and apple.
I munched on the apple and hummed to The Ammity Affection, it was stuck in my head the whole day, well at least the song Pittsburg was. I placed my water bottle on the side of the dojo and took another bite. I turned to see Leo looking slightly annoyed and sort of strict.
"Hmm?" I said cocking my head to the right slightly.
"You're not suppose to eat before training and baggy pants? Have you ever seen Nin-," I cut him off with a deadly glare and a finger raised.
"First of all, I eat some fruit before training because it gets my energy up. Secondly, I am wearing my training clothes under this." I hissed. Well this wasn't exactly how I wanted to start today but you know, it happened and now I can't change it.
