I awoke with a horrid cold. I couldn't breath from my nose, my head was pounding, my throat burned, and my muscles seemed to make me more clumsy. I stumbled into my clothes and placed my weapons securely on my back. I began to put on my wraps as my nose began to run. I sniffled it up and rubbed my black eyes it seemed to happy every time I grew ill.

I headed out of my usual jump and landed with a thud. Boy, today was not good already, I never land with a thud. I shook my head and began running to a drug store to steal some medicine. I dropped through the air vent as usual; however, it was more clumsy and loud.

I sniffled as I landed into a large cage full of plastic balls. I shuffled my way out of the pipe and elastic string cage while letting every single ball, but one, go.

I gripped about thirty different bottles of medicine. I took a plain black sling bag and placed all of the bottles in. I grabbed two boxes of tissues, a candy bar, and a few things for Mikey and Tsukiko for having to put up with me today. I slipped a few twenty dollar bills on the register and wrote my note of sorry. Sorry for the mess but here is money for the things I took.

I finished the note with my signature and climbed the vent. I entered and climbed out into the sweet air, or as sweet as air can get when in New York. I began walking away when I heard a gruff throat cleaned. I turned to see Raphael standing there with his arms crossed. He looked down at the vent the up at me and shook his head.

"You leave and then you turn to the life of crime? You know what I need to do." he said with a hint of sadness in his voice.

"You need to let me go, I paid for everything." I said sniffling. I took off my mast and tucked it in my boot. My ears haven't perked since I woke so they were dropped and laying on my head. My tail just moved when the wind took it. My mood was crappy and he wasn't helping.

"You're sick." he said with a hint of worry lacing his words. I nodded but when I stopped I felt a sneeze creep up. I sneezed softly into the crease of my arm and groaned at the pain it shot to my head.

"Why are you out if you're sick?" he questioned carefully.

"I have things to do." I said turning away to walk away but was stopped by his voice/

"I know you come out to meet Mikey an Tsukiko. Mikey spilled to me when I saw he was hiding something." he said normally.

"Do the others know?" I asked not baring to turn around.

"No." he stated simply. I finally turned to meet his cold eyes.

"Raphael, I needed to change. I need to leave and follow my own path. I was scared and I was a coward. I know that I was stupid and that it was unruling but I am happy and I am ready to embrace things differently. I know I hurt all of you. I broke my family," I said as my voice cracked at the end.

"Honour-," he began but I stopped him.

"No, let me speak." I said sternly. He let me speak by raising his hands up in defeat.

"It hurt knowing how badly I hurt you. Staying away was hell but I somehow managed to be in your lives and you didn't even realize it." I said with a small chuckle. It was as if a light bulb clicked in his mind. He suddenly turned to me with wide eyes.

"You were shadow girl!" he said shocked.

"Shadow what?" I asked with a cocked head.
