She's mine! You stay away from her it's not her time!
Cause baby I'm the one who haunts her dreams at night, until she's satisfied.
I sang softly as I made breakfast for everyone. This has become a routine for the past two weeks. After the first day of me waking it was quite awkward but life goes on. April, Tsukiko and I have become inseparable along with Casey and I; although, not as close as the girls and I. Donnie and I also have gotten along great since my physical therapy, his suggestion, has started the second day since I woke. I guess I could say everyone just became closer.
Casey and I talked all the time, if it wasn't face to face, it was across the room. My crush soon turned into just the need of friendship from him. I guess my feelings mutated to just a simply 'I love you' as in a friendship. I believe he felt the same way after the incident with Tsukiko spilling my rant to everyone the day I first woke. The turtles teased him but it soon stopped when I threatened to take my four daggers and plunge each one into there faces. Brutal but it worked.
It has been two weeks since then and I haven't left the lair once. The need to fight killed me but I kept it subsided to lessen everyone being worried, along with stress. April hasn't left either, mostly so she could spend time with us but also the suspicion of the Kranng plotting something, according to Donnie. He said that they have been spotted doing shady things that he says we shouldn't investigate tell he knows more about it. By we he meant the rest of the turtles which bummed me out but I again hid the fact about it.
Casey stays and leaves as he pleases to which was normal. Tsukiko goes on patrol with the boys every night still. She didn't leave for two days after I woke up until I urged her and told her I would be fine with just April and Casey. Did I mention that Casey didn't go on patrol for a week after. Again I urged him.
Now here I am frying eggs and bacon while I toasted bread and cleaned the dishes and made tea. My mum was good at teaching me multitasking that was for sure. I just finished bringing all the bacon onto the table along with the eggs as I buttered the uncanny amount of bread I toasted when Leo groggily walked down the steps.
"Morning sleepy head." I said with a smile. I poured him a cup of freshly made green tea which he gingerly accepted.
"Good morning." he slurred still half asleep.
"Long night?" I asked with worry in my voice.
"Yeah, we discovered the Kranng doing shady stuff last night and attacked. It was a long but easy fight. Guess they just wore me down." he said drinking his tea. I nodded as I put away the dish I was drying.
"I think I might go back to bed." he said after a period of silence. I nodded but before he could move I dished him a plate of food and he smiled. He bowed slightly with his head in thanks and head back upstairs.
I dished up seven more plates and began carrying them to the rest of my family. I had two balanced on my tail, three lining one arm and two lining the other. I some how opened the door to Mikeys room to see him sound asleep. I put the food on his bed side table and exited. I opened the Donnie's door and did the same. I repeated this for everyone as I finally finished at Tsukiko, Aprils, and I's room. Seeing as we were the only girls we shared the spare room while Casey bunked with Leonardo. Soon I ventured down stairs. I knew Master Splinter wouldn't eat unless he wanted to so I left him out of it.
I grabbed a cup of tea and sipped slowly as I sat at the kitchen counter on the tall bar stool. It was slightly early but only eight o'clock so I expect everyone to stay asleep for a while except April who I heard begrudgingly come down the stairs. I chuckled at her as she carried her now clean plate.
