HER EYES CHANGE AND SO DOES SHE

Chapter 8; "I will take a pipe and shove it up your-,"

        It has been two months. Two long months without the turtles bugging me. Two months without April looking and talking to me. Two months of being alone. Now it was Friday and I was doing nothing but thinking. A ton of thinking.

        I hated how Raphael treated me but I could handle myself around him. The two days the turtles and I talked were fun for once. Granted they did make me upset and scared at times but it was still more fun.

        Now, here I sit on a Friday night with a full grown kitten sitting in my chest. Tsukiko and I were so close. She followed me everywhere or she would stand on my shoulders when I was sitting. We were so connected that  I could swear anytime we talked she would listen.

        "Hey Hun," my mom said coming into my room.

        "Yes, mum?" I asked as I turned my head from where I was laying on my bed.

        "I have to go to Texas Monday to close a deal and I will be there for a week. I was wondering if you wanted to go out tonight and have some fun before I left." she said hopefully.

        "Sure," I said with a smile. I turned to Tsukiko and she hopped off of me and sat on the bed.

        "I am so glad we got Tsukiko. She is such a well behaved cat!" my mum said with a huge smile.

        "Like you said mum, the kitten chooses you." I said with a smile as I put on my combat boots she gave a laugh and went to get ready. I wore a pair of blue skinny jeans with holes in the knees and a large but medium hoodie that was black. I let my hair fall down my back for the night and left my face without makeup.

        I walked in my moms room to see here wearing her usual. She just finished putting her short hair in a ponytail when she saw me. She grabbed her purse and we headed out the door but not before I said goodbye to Tsukiko.

        We drove to a Starbucks and enjoyed some coffee then we began walking down the long strip of shopping places and food. We enjoyed a lot of laughs as we talked about old memories. I haven't had fun with my mom in a long time and that made me happy.

        We were waiting to cross the street when suddenly a guy came and took my mother's purse.

        "Hey! Someone stop him!" she yelled in a panic. I dropped my coffee and began to sprint after him. He was fast but with my soccer training I had him out ran. I gained on him but not before turning down an alley way. I followed and the second I turned I jumped and tackled him. We rolled for a few turns until we came to a halt. I quickly went over and pinned him on the ground with my knee in his lower back and his hands pinned with one of my hands.

        I forcefully grabbed my mothers purse out of his hands as he groaned in pain.

        "You must be an idiot. Next time don't steal a Soccer players mom's purse." I hissed. I pushed off of him hard before turning and exiting the alley way. I gave a light job back to where my mother and I once stood but she was gone.
