Chapter Thirty Five - The Big Day.

It's finally the big day for both me and Rivera.

Two weeks has passed and within those two weeks, we've been getting things prepared for our wedding and also obviously working.

I was excited to see how our mothers decorated everything, which I'm sure it'll be most definitely breathtaking, knowing that my mother has a thing for decor and plus Rivera's mother has a thing for these type of stuffs as well.

I woke up feeling safe, turning around to face Rivera with her arm still around my waist.

“Good morning beautiful” Rivera said slowly prying her eyes open, as she had a smile on her face.

“Morning gorgeous” I said and gave her a kiss on the lips, as she then turned it into a make out session.

“Baby, it's to early for this” I chuckled, breaking the kiss.

“It's never to early to suffocate my soon-to-be wife in kisses” With that said, she gave me another kiss on the lips “But I guess we should start getting ready for our big day” She added, giving me another kiss, but on my forehead, as she got off the bed.

As Rivera went into the bathroom to get ready for today. I just stayed in the room, looking up to the ceiling. I honestly still couldn't believe that I'm gonna get married. It's still a bit surreal for me to even know that.

Before we left the house to get all dolled up for our wedding for today, Rivera couldn't wait till our honeymoon and we had a bit of "fun" in the bathroom. You didn't really need to know that, but..now you know.

Once we arrived at our destination, obviously me and Rivera had to be in seperate rooms, cause it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding, and since we're both brides then that's double bad luck.

We would be both walking down the aisle, but Rivera would be the one walking up before me.

I was in one of the rooms having some daughter and mother bonding time with my mom doing my make up, cause I didn't want anyone else doing it other than her.

“You look beautiful” My mom said softly with a proud smile on her face. It even looked like she was close to tears, when she was done doing my make up and I was already ready to walk down the aisle.

“Mom please don't cry, cause your gonna make me cry” I chuckled, lightly already feeling my eyes getting watery.

My mom chuckled, seeing her in tears, as she pulled me into a hug “Well you're just lucky that this is waterproof mascara and can only come out using makeup wipes” She sniffled, as she pulled away.

I chuckled “And you're lucky too” I wiped my tears, god damn why does weddings have to make you always emotional, even if it's yours..

“Ava, it's your turn to go up next” Rivera's mom, Chalice came into the room and when she saw me, a smile grew on her face “You look..stunning” She gave me a once over before pulling me into a hug “My daughter is so lucky to have you by her side” She said almost coming out as a whisper.

“I think it's the other way around. I'm lucky to have her”.

“Let's just say, you guys are both lucky to have each other – now let's get you outside” Chalice said with a smile.
