Chapter Five - A Struck of the Moment.

It was an hour before sunset and the rest of the day, was amazing. I loved hanging out with Rivera. It was both an eventful and fun time spent with her today.

This would be the day that I would surely never forget and would cherish.

Instead of going home after doing most of the things that were on my bucket list.

Rivera decided to take me to a place where she likes to go– to just clear her mind– with me feeling a bit special that she was gonna take me to such a place.

During our car ride going to Rivera's go-to spot. I couldn't help myself, but take a few glances over to her, while she was driving. She just looked so beautiful– that I honestly wished that she was mine.

“Well, we're here” Rivera announced, with her turning off the engine to her car.

I shook my head, knocking myself out of my fantasy, that will only be simply a dream. I looked around and noticed we were at a dead end at a top of a hill. I was kind of confused that this would be her safe-place.

“Wait, before you get out. I want you to close your eyes” I looked at her confused, seeing her roll her eyes “Just trust me, okay?” She said with a smile on her face.

I just did what she told me. Because I did trust her;I mean she is my doctor– so basically she takes care of me.

I used the door as my guide and when I was out of the car. I felt Rivera come behind me, putting her hands over my eyes– to make sure I wasn't really peeking.

“Now you can open them” I felt her whisper in my ear, giving me slight chills, from the warmth of her breath hitting my ear, feeling myself blush.

I opened my eyes slowly and my breath was taken away. The view was just so..spectacular. It wasn't really one of the words I was looking for, but it'll do.

We were more far out into the countryside of town, where everything was mainly forest, but honestly this surely beats the view back home and I'm talking about before I moved to this part of town.

“It's beautiful” I managed to get out.

“It's even more beautiful at sunset” Rivera told me “and it's even relaxing just looking up to the night sky – and just being out here in general – just to have a wiff of fresh air” She said as she took in the fresh air that was around us.

“I can't wait to experience it with you” I told her, trying to hide myself blushing. Like I said, I hate being a girl that easily blushes.

Rivera just gave me a smile before going into the car, getting the drinks that we bought before heading up here– for me it was just water, but for her it was beer. She didn't want me drinking alcohol– because of the fact that I'm going through chemotherapy and plus I was underage– and she didn't want me getting in trouble from my parents, stumbling home drunk.

“Here you go Madame” Rivera handed me my water bottle before hopping up on the car trunk.

“Thank you good sir” I bowed my head down, with me making my voice a little deep saying that, which we just started laughing after that.

I heard Rivera pop the cap open to her bottle of beer, seeing some of it squirt out, with her quickly sucking it up, as we just started laughing away from that outcome.

“Honestly, I had fun today” Rivera said as we cheers our drinks.

“I could say the same” I said, taking a little sip of my drink.
