~Rira's POV~

"Gotcha!" Lolita quipped pushing Aira from behind causing the latter to fall forward. Lolita then grabbed her right hand and twisted it on her back.

Aira let out a loud piercing shriek as her arm cracked from being dislocated.

"Sarah-chan!" Gon and Leorio's worried shout reached her ears.

Lolita then grabbed her hair. "Such a lovely face.." She gently touched Aira's chin lifting her face. "Too bad, I doubt if it'll stay the same after this."

A searing pain from her cheek was sent to us. Yes, Aki and I have a taste of her pain. Lolita's punch forced slap sent Aira flying knocking her to the cold solid floor.

This time she's coughing out blood. Her consciousness is starting to fade.

"Surrender now before she could kill you!" That was Leorio's voice. "Sarah-chan! Back-out! You don't need to be killed!" That's Gon, but its useless, she can't even speak even if she wants to.

What should we do? Think...

Aki! Only you can help her. I'm not certain if my idea will work but I can't let Aira's life remain at stake.

What? How?

Lend her your strength. I know she's still awake but you have to try. I can't explain how you can do it but you already took over her conscious state once.

We then felt a soothing presence from Aira. She's relaxing herself as if giving way for Aki. Her pain never ceased but something that is welling inside her makes us more comfortable as if we're inside a mother's womb. She seemed to be embracing us.

Let's work together... Aira's inner voice is weak but this signaled us to concentrate on making a stronger bond with her.

Hey Rira! It's working! Aki exclaimed as she started to take hold of Aira's weakened body.

~Aira'sPOV~

I felt Aki-chan urging me to stand up. So I stood with her as my support. Its like my legs had its own life that I was able to stand.

I'm still awake and my body is still not changing but Aki-chan and I are moving as one. I dont know how were going to pull this off but one thing's for sure...

I'm not going to battle alone.

"Impressive..." Lolita huskilly, almost seductively remarked.

"Ugh! Don't be gross loli-freak!" My eyes widened and I abruptly shut my mouth close after those insolent words came out of it.

Lolita's fake gold lashes bowed down as her eyes narrowed. "What did you just call me?"

My mouth opened as it formed words but I shut it again.

Hey! Let me talk!

Let's just win this battle Aki-chan. You don't need to say such things. I reasoned as she tried to push out words in my struggling mouth.

Shut up! If you want me to help you, stop restraining me!!

You two... Rira-nee interrupted in her patronizing tone. I figured that you're both in-control because you aimed for the same goal. If you continue fighting each other like this, one of you will loose grip and there's a greater chance that Aki will. So you better do your best to work as one.
