~Killu's POV~

Leorio paused seeing the look on her paled face while Gon who’s unaware beside her talked with food still stuck in his mouth. "Yeah! It’s so cool how you immediately healed Lolita."

"You know, you shouldn't talk when your mouth is full." Kurapika calmly rebuked Gon.

Gon swallowed his mouth's content. "Haha! Gomenasai!" He apologized sticking his tongue out then turn to the girl. "How'd you do that?"

This time, her expression is calm and collected. "It’s an inborn ability.” She started, then paused for a brief moment as if recollecting memories.

“Back then as a child, I thought that water can naturally heal because that's what it does, I mean, at least to me. I just did what I thought was normal, until my mother saw me healing an injured baby mammoth. That's when I finally realized, it’s a special ability after all."

So that’s it?.. Although her story reminded me of Alluka's inborn talent about granting wishes out of conditions. Grandpa used to say that Alluka's some kind of a genius. Maybe he is, but for me, he's just a gentle child who deserves a normal life.

"Suuugoooi!!" Gon's childish eyes are wide in amazement. "You really healed a baby mammoth? They're rare! I wanna see one!"

The girl nodded and made a chuckle that bounced in the air as if making some kind of music. I remembered how it’s so different with her laughs during battle. She's really odd. But who knows? Maybe all girls are odd anyway.

How can I know? It’s not like I've been exposed to them or something. The only female I was exposed to, unfortunately, is that mother of mine. Ugh. And I'm not even fond of her. She's irritatingly loud and demanding.

"I see.. If Killua's natural talent is to kill then yours is to heal.. Haha! That rhymes." Leorio remarked with a goofy smile. “I could see a good harmony right there.” He added turning to me as I was about to take another slurp on my cup.

He leaned to me elbowing my side and whispered. “Isn’t she cute and adorable? Hehe.. I think the two of you would look good together.”

My eyes widened just as the soup I wrongly gulped made its way up to my nose. I jolted as I cough out, making me spill some of my cup’s content. I felt tears forming in my eyes as I coughed nonstop.

I could hear that they’re laughing in chorus as I struggle to normally breathe. I calmed myself down then glowered at Leorio.

“Silly old man..” I mouthed in all seriousness that I let a slight bloodlust slip to scare him off. “You wouldn’t want to see me pissed, would you?”

He nervously smiled scratching his nape. “Hehe.. Did I say anything wrong?”

“Why Leorio? What did you say to Killua?” Gon butted in, curious. This time heat started to creep up to my face.

Damn it! What’s up with me? I looked away clenching my teeth behind my rigidly shut mouth as I compose myself, trying to contain the embarrassment.

“Nothing much. I just asked him if he’s hiding an unusual ability like Sarah here.” Leorio replied giving me a slight relief.

“Oh.. I know one! I saw him make multiple images of him surrounding Netero-san once.” Gon chirped after Leorio.

“He called it.. Reading Echo! Right Killua?” Gon enthusiastically faced me with his eyes amused.

I tried to holdback my laugh but I’m badly failing. “Pffft! Buwahahahaha!”

“Eh?” that innocent look on his face again is still not getting old on being so hilarious.
