Chapter Five

Early in the morning I prepared myself to go to work. He's awake already. I made breakfast since my mom left to buy essentials in the supermarket.
"Let's eat now."
"What shall I do?" He said.
"Nothing. You can clean the backyard."
"Really?"
My father got inside the kitchen.
"Pa,have your breakfast now. "
"Yeah. I drank coffee earlier. Harrison,do you want to come with me? I'll be going to our farm."
"Sure." He answered my father. I winked at him.
He stood up and put the plates on the sink.
"I'll wash the plates. Just put it there."
"Alright."
"Your shirts are in my closet. Just open it okay?" He nodded his head. I feel he found a home within us.
I cleaned the table.
"Pa,I'm going to work now. Please tell mama that I'll just call."
"Okay. "
Harrison looked at me.
"When are you going home?" He asked me. He's like a child whose mom is going abroad and leave him.
"When I'm free."
"I love pizza." He said.
"Okay. I'll bring one for you. Be good in here okay?"
He smiled at me.
"Don't forget to take your medicine. I already told mom to help you. "
"Okay."
I got my bag and left.

I arrived in our apartment. Lee is currently working and Jonah is resting.
"Jonah,are you done eating?"
"Hmm."
"I'm going to the office. I'm a little late already. See you later."
I drove off to the office.
Mr. Hall is not yet in the office.
I called the mansion.
"Hello?"
"Belle? Are you in the office?"
"Yes Mr. Hall."
"We have a situation here now,Belle. I can't come to the office right now. Please take care of the company."
"What happened Mr. Hall."
"Raven left."
"What?"
"He left a note. He said we should not find him. He can't live with us. He feel he's like a stranger in our house. Belle,I'm worried about him."
"Did he bring his wallet,Mr. Hall? How about his phone?"
"He left his phone. He doesn't even know how to use it. I don't know what did he wear. I can't tell the police."
"Don't worry Mr. Hall, he's fine."
"I hope so."
"Maybe he just want to find himself."
"I hope so. Please take care all my meetings. Belle."
"Yes. Mr. Hall."
He ended the call.
His eldest son left their mansion.
I remember his son would call his dad almost every morning and I had always the chance to be annoyed with him. I don't like to listen to his cold voice.
But this time,I wish he would always do that because everyone is not that worried.
I wish he always annoyed me every morning so that his family will be at peace.
I combed my hair using my fingers. I had a short hair even when I was in University.
I had still my brace until now. This is my signature style.

I focused on the papers in front of me again.
I did all my tasks until late at night. I went back to my apartment at 8:30. I didn't have my dinner since it's late already.
My phone rang.
"Hello," I said in a sleepy tone.
"Belle."
"Ma?"
"Are you still awake?"
"Hmm. Why? How is Harrison?"
"He's fine. He's really good. Your sister came over this morning with Drix. Tsk. They are already good friends. "
Drix is my nephew.
"Oh that's good. Where is he now?"
"He's with your father. They are watching news. Do you have any information about him?"
"Nothing,ma."
"Okay. Your father might go tomorrow in the police station. "
"Okay."
"But I really like him,Belle. If he's fine already,you can seduce him."
"Ma."
"He's handsome "
"Whatever. He's married. He has a ring."
"Yeah. I think  so. "
"Take care of him. Ma."
"Okay. Did you eat your dinner?"
"No. I'm tired."
"Its not good."
"I'm fine."
We talked for about twenty minutes and ended the call.
I lay on the bed. I was still thinking where is Mr. Raven. That man is really a pain in the ass. He didn't even go home and now he made his family got frustrated of finding him.
I didn't see him since back then. During parties in the mansion,I stayed with the other staff. I normally stay away from his family. Mr. Hall will do business on his own.
From the very start of my first year in Harrison Builders,I always hear his voice. He seems so comfortable calling at almost the same hour in the morning.
"Where is he?"
I slept with those words in my mind.

The next day,the sun is up already.
I got up and head to the bathroom to do my morning routine.
I saw Lee eating her breakfast.
"I cooked already. I'm going first. I have meeting with my clients today."
"Sure."
"Bye."
Jonah is awake at this moment. She went to the kitchen.
"Belle,are you done eating?"
"Not yet. I'll eat in the office."
"Okay."

I've been terribly occupied these past few weeks. I wasn't able to go home. Mr. Hall went to the office already. He set his mind that Mr. Raven is fine to the place where he only knows. At least Mr. Hall didn't have to be worried. He's old so he might on t be able to sustain his emotion.
"Mr. Hall,you can take the day off. I'll take care your task."
"Really?"
"Yeah. I'm going to reschedule your meetings for next week. It's three weeks already."
"Okay. Sure. Thanks."
"Do you have already news about Mr. Raven?"
"Not yet. That man is still alive. I know. I can feel he's just staying in a place where he feel his heart is comfortable."
"Yeah I think so."
"But I hope he's doing fine."
"Oh.yeah. I think so too."
"Thanks for your help Belle."
"You're welcome Mr. Hall."
"When Raven is back,You'll focus on your studies. I want you to study again and be a doctor."
"No need sir."
"No I want it to do it to you. You save him. Don't worry. I won't pay your school fees. I'll let Raven will do that to you. You save him. I'll blackmail him. You can finish your course in no time."
"Wow. Thank you sir. You don't have to."
"We can't pay your thoughtfulness hija but at least we can do something for you. You've been so kind to our family. Maybe Raven is only the person who treats you coldly. "
"I'm fine with it sir. I don't feel bad either."
"No. "
"Thank you sir."
"Well,I'm going home. You work late at night. You continue that one tomorrow."
"Yes sir."
"Okay. See you then "
He left.
My phone rang.
"Hello Ma."
"Hello." His voice I heard on the other line.
"Harrison?"
"Hi."
"Why did you call?"
" Mom asked me to call you. It's been a month you didn't come home."
"And why?"
"Why didn't you come home?"
"I'm busy."
"I'm enjoying my stay."
"Really?"
"I want to eat pizza. "
" I'll buy one for you "
" I know how to wash clothes now."
"Really?"
"Hmm. I know how to cook rice."
"Great."
"I remember some few faces of people but still I don't know them."
"Don't worry it will come back at the right time."
"See you."
"Bye. "
"Bye. Take care."
"You too."
I ended the call. Why his voice is familiar to me? The coldness of the tone.
Hello to you too. Dad please.

Mr. Raven is that you? I said to my mind.
No. It can't be. It's different because he is responsible and good person according to my mom. Raven is the opposite. Its not him.
