Chapter Sixteen

Raven's POV

I've been scanning all the papers in front of me but my mind was left to her room. I remembered when I was still in her house. I was able to do things that I didn't do before. It was good experience though she lied to me about my identity. She never cared to tell me who I am. What did I do before? So I said some bad things to her. I truly regret why I say that. It was a mistake for saying that to her instead of saying thank you for taking care of me.
Yesterday, was another mistake I made to her. I said terrible words again. Every time I see her eyes crying,my heart hurts.
Then my world started to crumble when I saw her lying on the stretcher. I couldn't move and was glued to where I stand. When Nurse Lovelyn called me,that's the time I was back to reality. I got scared of losing her. I was bad to her then after a second I saw her lying lifeless and unconscious.
I really feel regret why I told her that one.
I went out to see her. I'm off today. So it's not basically important to work those papers.
I opened her room. This room is the most expensive room I got for her. If she would,she might get angry at me.
I couldn't see her.
"Bella!" I called her. I knocked the comfort room. Then,suddenly she came out from the room. She looks fine now than before.
"Are you okay?" She asked me.
"I thought you left." I said. I went to the chair. I sat on it. The same way,she positioned herself on the bed.
She lay down on the bed. She turned to me.
"Why are you wearing that ring? " she asked me. I held my ring. 
I got up.
"Get back to sleep and I'll come back later for dinner."
"I can't." She said.
"Don't be stubborn, get back to sleep." I said. Her face became rosy pink now. She's getting better. Her hair was spread out evenly on the pillow.
"Why did you kiss me?" She asked. I put my right hand on my pocket.
"Should I give you reason why I did that?" I said coldly.
"You should not do that!" She hissed angrily. She turned her back at me.
"Get back to sleep." I said to her. She never moved. I walked out from the room.
I remembered when we were in university. She was silent and studious that time. We always see each other in one class.

I was late that time. It's our first day of class. I was a transferee in Good Samaritan Medical University. I was new and no friends at all.
I sat at the back part. We are almost twenty students in the classroom. That room can accommodate thirty students. So that time,everyone can stay anywhere as long as they listened to the professor. Three girls were sitting almost in front of me. The other girl was wearing her black eyeglasses and ...a brace! She was cute. But looks like always have a problem. She never smiled to anyone except her friends.
The teacher asked us to introduce ourselves so we have to stand and say something about us.
People in front started the activity. I don't feel nervous or worried on what to say. Then,she stood.
"Hi,I'm Isabella Chavez. You can call me Belle. Well,I like reading. So most of the time I go to the library if I don't have a class. Let's work together."
I smiled secretly. She's pretty. My heart began to itch when she looked at my direction.
Then her friends followed.
It's my turn now.
She never looked at me. Her eyes were looking at her notebook.
"Hi,I'm Raven Harrison Hall. Please call me Raven."
My teacher already knew about me since my father had donated money for this school. This is one of the prestigious school in our place.
The day is over and I went out earlier than everyone. Early than the teacher.
I don't like listening.
I went to the library. I had to be good. Being a doctor needs high intellectual ability.
I was in the medical section when she entered the library. I hid myself not to let me see her.
She went to my position.
"Tsk,everybody talked about him."
Is she talking to herself? My mind said. Who's him?
She got a book.
I went out from hiding and she sat on the chair I'm using. I went to my notebook and gathered them all. She looked at me. She looks pale.
"I'm sorry."
"It's okay stay there." I said. She just stated at me.
"Thanks."
I went off and attended my next subject during my time. We had one class which we are the same. I saw her two friends eating in the canteen. How do they became friends?

Days passed so fast. I always comes late in the class. One day,we had class and I don't have any pen.
I called her.
"Do you have extra pen?"
"Tsk,everybody knows you are rich. But why you don't have pen." She said and handed me a pen. I just rolled my eyes on her.
"Tsk,thank you."
"You're welcome."
We had the quiz.
She got perfect score and me too.
"Wow,only Chavez and Hall got the perfect score. "Our teacher said.
I silently rejoiced. Our surnames are perfectly fitted for each other. I never had girlfriends before but now,I want to try it. I want to be with her.
Sports day comes. I haven't saw her. I tried to join the basketball team. I made a challenge to myself. If I became the MVP of this game,I have to marry her in the future. I really like her very much. I want to gain her smile. I want to be the reason why she smile. And that's I want to be that person. I don't know if she wants to watch basketball game.
The game started. I couldn't see her in the rows of audience.
I played very well. I love basketball so I would do my best to win this game.
Then,the game finished. I couldn't still see her. I feel bad. I feel disappointed. My victory is not useful since she couldn't see me doing it.
After the proclamation of winners,I saw her friend. It's Lee. We are friends already.
" hi."
"Oh,Harrison. Congratulations!"
"Thanks,where's Bella?"
"She went home." My face frowned.
"She watched your game."
"Really?"
"Yeah,"
"Wow. That's why I became the MVP."
Her friend laughed at me. I went home after we talked. I don't have any reasons to stay more in the school.
I saw my mom in the living room.
"What's that?" She asked me.
"Trophy"
" Why? It's my first time to see you bringing trophy at home."
I smiled secretly.
"I joined the basketball team. I did my best. So I became the MVP."
I saw my mom's happy face.
I got inside my room. I put the trophy in one of my closet.
The next day,I thought I could see her. But I only see her friend.
I couldn't ask them where is she.
I continued to do my best to become a doctor.
I went to America to study my specialization for two years.
Then I came home.
I was really surprised when I saw her in our mansion. She has short brown hair. But not blond hair. Just a soft touch of brown. She was wearing a corporate attire and was bringing a folder.
What is she doing here?
I hide myself not to  see her.
Then after,Bettina told me that she was my father's hardworking assistant. She already worked for a year in my father's company.
I want to hear her voice.
I called my father via her phone.
I'm already working in Good Samaritan Medical Hospital as a Resident doctor.
Every time I called my father in the morning,I could sense that she dislike to hear my voice. Fine! I'll do this everyday to annoy you!

I went back to my office. It's still four. At exactly five,I went out to buy our dinner. Since she's fine, she can eat regular foods.
The sun is about to set. I bought chicken,apple and steak. I love steak too. When I got back,I saw her watching on the TV. She just looked at me.
"What?" I asked her. She just shook her head.
She was sitting on the sofa. I sat next to her. I sliced an apple and gave it to her. She got it and eat it. I was so shocked when she shouted and hid herself in me.
Now,I realized that she was watching horror drama. I got the remote and turned it off.
"Why did you turn off?" She asked me. I was holding her in her shoulder. If other people can see us,they would think we are sweet couple.
"You're shouting. " I looked at her eyes. Her eyes are the most beautiful thing I ever seen in my whole life.
She stood up and walked towards the bed.
