Chapter Seven

I went back to my apartment the next day. I was starting to confuse who is the man in my house. I've been hearing things like Mr. Raven and Dr. Harrison. I was completely confused who is he.
"What happened? " Lee said.
"Nothing. I am thinking about my life."
"What? For the first time,I heard that one from you."
"Mr. Hall proposed to me to study again. Should I accept it?"
"Well,it's good for you."
"What if his son degrades me."
"Raven Hall?"
"Hmm."
"Maybe no."
"Lee,what's the full name of Harrison when we were in University?"
"I only know Harrison. Most of our classmates and teachers called him by his name."
"Ahh..okay."
"He's a doctor now. But according to Jonah, he had accident so he is in critical condition."
"What??"
"Hmm. Your destiny is in critical condition."
"Lee. Where is he admitted?"
"I don't know."
"I want to see him."
"Did you still remember his face?"
"I don't know. I can't remember."
"What?"
"Yeah. I can't."
"You're terrible."
"I never looked at him before when I'm talking since I was very annoyed with his voice.".
" yeah I remember when you talked to him. You're almost shouting at him."
I laughed.
"He's cute when he smirked right? " I said. She hit my arms.
" Tsk,you should meet him when Jonah was still in the hospital. "
"And then what?"
"Tell him that you like him."
"Lee.." I whined.
"You're thirty years old but you are still single. How could you live like that?"
"I am destined to be with him.  So even if I reach at the age of 50, I still wait for him."
"Seriously. Are you one of the women who are head over heels to him?"
"No,I'm different. Nobody knows. He didn't know either. "
"He likes you too. You are the only student in our university that he noticed of course including me because I'm your friend. Everyone envied you secretly."
"Did he tell you?"
"I can see it in his eyes. He always glanced at you before when you are listening to the discussion."
"Why do you know?"
"I know since I was sitting beside you and I can see him in my peripheral vision."
"Really? Why you didn't tell me?"
"You ignored me if I'm talking about him."
"Really? "
"He always sit at your back so that he can see you easily. And of course annoyed you if he wanted to."
"I wanted to see him."
" Would you accept him if he courted you before?"
" No. "
"What?"
"Hmm."
"Did you remember during our sports day?"
"Yeah,he was absent."
"No,he's present that time!"
"What?"
"Yes,he played basketball. Do you remember no. 7 jersey uniform? He's no. 7 and you were smiling that time. You didn't shout but you cheer him silently."
"I didn't know that he's no. 7."
"Yes. He told me when you left. He asked me if you watch the game. I said yes. Then he said,really? That's why I became the MVP!"
"What?"
"Yes,he's the most valuable Player that time. You left before the game finished."
"Yeah,I got a call from my mom."
"I was excited that time but you never came back to school after that day. You just texted me that you can't come. He was also absent during that time. Almost one week."
"Really?"
"Yeah,I shifted another course and so do you the next year. He's busy starting that time."
"Wow. I don't know that Lee."
"Yea,you could have beautiful love story if you continued."
"But I have to stop. My family situation that time is terrible so I need to give up medicine."
"Why did your benefactor died?"
"Due to cancer."
"Oh. So bad."
We were talking until midnight. Then we headed to our respective rooms afterwards.
My phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Belle." I heard his voice.
"Are you okay?"
"I was checking my jacket earlier. I saw a wallet. Is this mine?"
I checked my wallet. I have it now.
"Yeah,that's yours."
"Belle,I saw a black card."
"What?"
"Black card! Should I throw this one?"
"No,don't ever throw anything. Wait for me okay? I'll be home this week."
"Okay."
"Are you done eating your dinner?"
"Yeah. Mom cooked this time."
"Oh. Great."
"There's a fragment memory appeared in my mind this morning. Someone's coat on a hanger."
"Coat what?"
"White coat!like a dress."
"Really? Maybe this Christmas, you could be able to remember everything."
"I hope so. I hope you are included in my memory. I hope I can still remember you even when I got back my memory. I hope you are part of the memories I forgot today."
"Why?"
"I want to stay with you." He said seriously. I laughed.
"What do you mean? "
"I don't know but I want to stay in your company."
"You have family back there. Maybe you have a son or a daughter. Your wife is waiting for you."
He became silent.
"Just think of that okay? You have to remember that I am just a person who helped you. Nothing. You have family. They loved you."
"I know."
"We can still be friends."
"Thanks."
"I understand you might feel that way. We stayed together for six months in my house. You live with my family. You were able to understand us. But don't stick too much,I don't want you hold back the moment you can remember everything. I want you to go back where you are rightfully belong without pains and heartaches. My family will always be your family after this. "
"Thank you,Belle."
"We are your new home. Think about it okay?"
"Thanks. "
I ended the call after we talked. I don't want to take advantage to what he feels towards me. I don't want to put a connection since we can't really be together in the future. He has family. I don't want to ruin it because of my feelings towards him.
It shouldn't be happening.
