Chapter Twenty

I wake up early since my class starts at 7 in the morning. I got up at 5 and went to the bathroom to do my morning routine. He was still sleeping. His work will start at nine. So he has a lot of time taking a rest.
We already stayed for two weeks together. He is the most responsible person in the world.
I always cook for him though he always complain because of the taste.
"What time you'll leave?" He just wake up and was rubbing his eyes. I wore my school uniform.
"6 why?"
"Should I send you to school?"
"No need. Take a rest. I'll drive."
"Really?"
"Hmm."
He went back to sleep. I went down to prepare our breakfast. My phone rang.
"Hello,Ma!"
"How are you? How's school?"
"It's fine."
"How's Raven?"
"He's still sleeping. He's fine."
"Did you treat him well?"
"Of course. How about all of you?"
"They are fine too."
I was beating the egg when he came down. He was wearing his short pants and a shirt.
"Why are you up?" I asked him. He walked towards me. He hugged me and kissed me on the cheeks.
"Don't do that if you are still wearing that ring." I told him. He smiled and went to the refrigerator to get a bottled of water.
"Do you want to know the story of this ring?" He sat down in front of me.
"No,I don't want to. "
"Fine. If you don't like,okay."
He watched me while I'm cooking.
"I'm going to put the seasoning." He said and stood up. I rolled my eyes.
"If you don't like to eat the food I cooked,make your own meal." I said.
Suddenly his phone rang.
"Hello,mom?" He remained on his seat."what? Raya will come to the Philippines? " I looked at him. " Yeah,she can stay here."
Raya? Who's that? I asked my mind.
I cleaned the sink and set the table for him. I packed my food for lunch.
"Aren't you going to eat?"
"No,I'll be late."
"I'll drive you to school. Eat." He said. I shook my head. I was blinded with my jealousy again. Who's Raya? He even didn't tell me who's that. So,I don't like to eat.
"Bella."
"What?"
"Aren't you going to eat?" He called me.
"I said no. I'm going to be late."
I went out and he was running after me. He was bringing his car key.
"You start this attitude again." He said.
I am on the verge of crying. Control it Bella.
"Words Bella,what are you thinking?"he asked me.
" let's go. I'm going to be late." I said. I never looked at him.
"Damn!"
He hit the steering wheel and combed his hair angrily.
"I'm going to drive by myself." I went out and slammed the door.
I got in to the car that his mother gave me. He went out too.
"Hey,what are you doing?"
"Get out."
I started the engine. I drove off and left him. I arrived in my school.
I called Lee.
"Hello,Lee."
"Hello,good friend."
"Lee,he cheated on me."
"What?"
"Raya. Her name is Raya. He even allowed her to stay in the house. Lee,what should I do?"
"What?"
"Lee,it's painful."
"Did he get the ring on his finger?"
"Not yet. He's still wearing it."
I am crying now. I thought I can be strong and never think about terrible things. I don't want to get jealous. I don't want to suffer from heartaches.
"Bella,calm down okay."
"I will go home today."
"Your parents?"
"Yeah."
"When is Raya coming?"
"I'm not sure."
"Don't go home yet. If she arrives,and you see her like a leech to Raven,you can go home then."
"Okay. But.."
"I'm not going to poison your mind,Bella. Observe what is happening around you. If you feel something ain't right then do what is to be done but don't kill anyone."
"I'm scared."
"You always say that. Be strong. "
"Lee."
The bell rang. I ended the call and attended the class.
We will have exams next week so I have to start studying.
I don't want to asks help from him. I don't want that he would think I depended my life on him. It cannot be.
I went home that time. He's not yet there. I prepared his dinner. While I'm waiting for him at night,I studied my lesson.
"Where is he?" It's 11 in the evening. I checked my wristwatch every now and then. I'm staying in the living room. All the lights are still on. When the gate opened,I began to relax. He parked his car in the garage.
I looked at my book. I studied Physiology subject. He opened the door.
He put his jacket on the sofa and he sat next to me.
"Are you angry at me?" He asked me slowly.
I shook my head. I looked at his hands. The ring is still there.
"I saw a trophy in our room.  I think it's not useful in there. I planned to change it."
"No!! Don't you ever throw it." He said hysterically.
"I didn't say I'm going to throw it. You react exaggeratedly. You're terrible." I gather my things and went upstairs. He followed me.
"You can thrown anything  except this trophy."
"I threw a ball pen earlier."
"What?" He looked at his table where the pen is located. I already put it in the garbage bag this afternoon.
He is looking for it.
"Why are you so sentimental about that pen?" I asked him.
His face became red and seems like he's going to cry because of anger and frustration.
He went down instead of answering my question. I followed him. He went to the garbage can. Seriously,he find it. Surprisingly, he saw him t with other office related things.
He passed by me. I stayed there for a while. I don't know what's happening to him. Is it related to Raya?
I got inside and I saw him he drank water from the bottle.
"Don't do that again." He said to me.
"Yeah,never. " I said and went upstairs.
I entered in the room. I went to bed immediately and sleep. All those things are important to him. I'm sure those are related to Raya. Then,my tears began to flow down again to my pillow. I didn't know that I made low sobs under the blanket. The bed bounced and I knew he lay down already.
"I'm sorry." He said. I didn't reply to him. I just want to cry and burst out all this pain inside me. I want to wake up if all this things are just a dream.
