Prince POV

I hold my wife close so I can observe everything I can about her. Everything that happens to her, every breath she takes, every slight move she makes, I am observing and taking in all of it. Nanny is also watching her and about every 15 minutes, takes her hand, and checks her pulse, nods at me, and returns to her chair. We diligently watch and observe every twitch, flinch, wince, or sigh while she is asleep. She begins to fidget her foot, something she does when she's not sleeping soundly. Nanny Lois comes along the side of the bed, "Sir, she needs to be flat on her back so I can accurately get her vital signs. It's been two hours."

Nanny helps me slip her easily out of my arms and onto her back. I hold her other hand while Nanny records the monitor readings and looks at me with satisfaction written all over her face. "Sir, she is doing great. All her stats are perfect. We can relax a bit now she is tolerating the drugs as expected and very stable."

"You're darn straight I am stable. Will you two please quit doting over me so I can get some sleep?" Gigi glaring at me with her side-eye.

I gasped in shock, jumping out of bed running around to her, "Baby, are you alright. You are supposed to be sleeping with the drugs putting you into a deep sleep. Why are you awake? You are scaring me my Love."

"Madame, are you at all drowsy? You should be sound asleep, not awake."

"Will you two just relax. Every time you touch me, you disturb me, it would draw me to wake up. And moving me from your loving arms broke our connection and really sent shockwaves completely bringing me into full consciousness. Sweetie, I love when you tenderly kiss my neck. I feel warm and fuzzy all over when you do that. But you have to stop squeezing my hand with that death grip. I think you cut off my circulation several times. The pain from that brought me to nearly waking up. Please, just let me sleep in peace. Nanny, will you bring me a glass of water, please? My mouth is so dry it feels like a herd of camels walked through it."

"Yes, Ma'am. Right away. I will put a twist of lemon in it to help quench your thirst." As soon as Nanny leaves, she grabs me around my neck and pulls me into kisses with great passion.

"Oh.Mama! You know what time it is?" It's midnight at the oasis time. Maybe that's why she's awake.

"Yes, Sweetheart, I do. But I have to get back to sleep. Please hold me like you always do. I feel like the drugs are kicking back in."

Nanny arrives with a glass of water for her. She sips it with a straw, sinks down under the covers and clocks out right after I gather her up in my arms. Nanny whispers, "Goodnight, Sir." She takes her seat in the chair to be watchful over her, heck she's watching both of us. I nodded off to sleep with my wife.

Nanny stays with us throughout the night, diligently watchful over us. I took little cat naps between recording the monitor but every time I opened my eyes, Nanny was wide awake keeping tabs on us. G sleeps soundly and does not wake up again until mid-morning during a data check. She clocked out for a total of almost 12 hours of sleep including the little awake time. Quickly she flys up out of bed and rushes to the bathroom. I guess she really needed to relieve herself after all that time in bed and a big glass of water.

"Sir, would you like me to prepare you and the Misses some breakfast?"

"Yes, that would be wonderful. We'll be out to the dining room shortly."

"Sir, how about I serve breakfast outside by the pool?"

"Excellent idea, Nanny. We all could use some sunshine and fresh air."

"Sir, after breakfast, is it alright for me to retire to the guest room to get some sleep? The twins will be here in a couple of hours. Ms. Bonnie and Martha will do splendid in my absence."
