Description - you're a professional dancer on 'Strictly' and Harry's your partner

If there was one thing you were good at, it was dancing.

You were so much so that you were classed as a professional. You were lucky enough to be a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing, the British version of Dancing with the Stars. It was the best job in the world.

Every day consisted of something new and exciting. It never got boring. You got to dance all day and then chill in the evenings, with friends or family, and then sleep in the comfort of your old, but trusty, apartment. You'd bought it when you first moved you London. It cost you an arm and a leg, but your job had really helped pay off all debt.

When you started working on Strictly you were the third back-up dancer, meaning you'd only ever perform when they needed 3 or more extra dancers on the stage - which was very rarely. You stuck with it, though, because you loved dance too much to pass up the opportunity. It was a blessing you did stick with it, because now you were one of the most famous faces of Strictly professionals - not to blow your own horn or anything...

If there was one thing you found misleading about the show was the relationships that formed. Every other professional on the show ended up dating, or having a fling, with their celebrity partner but that never seemed to be the case with you. It wasn't because your partner didn't like you, it was because more than often got paired with the elder generation celebrities - the ones with a crippled leg or a wife, so you didn't ever have the chance.

Winning the show would mean everything to you. You hadn't got past week 4 yet, seeing as your partners were never in top shape - David Attenborough, being the legend that he is, had gotten you to week 4 once. You'd been kicked out in week 1 a few times. As a little girl all you'd dreamt of was winning Strictly, or at least going to Blackpool - the home of ballroom - but that looked like it was going to remain a dream rather than reality.

You'd just signed your contract for season 24 of the show. Hopefully this year would be different.

September was soon approaching and it was the time of year when you'd find out which celebrities were going to be on the show. You're best friend, Dianne, who also worked on Strictly, told you that she'd overheard that it was the best line up the show had had in over ten years.

As you entered the dancing studio, head to toe in gym clothes, you noticed the large curtain partition in the centre of the room. The BBC had all their cameras set up to record the reactions when professionals meet celebrities for the first time.

"Hey sexy." Dianne called, in her Australian accent, from where she was taking a swig off her water.

"Hey red." You answered with her nickname, seeing as she had the reddest hair you'd ever seen. You dumped your sports bag next to hers and removed your excess clothing, leaving you in your sports bra and leggings. You sat down to put on your ballroom heels. You desperately needed another pair, since these ones were falling apart, but bills this month were heavy and money was tight, so you'd have to hold off for a while.

"Excited?" Dianne asked happily - this girl never stopped smiling.

"Yeah, but also nervous. Just want to get a good partner this year." You replied, huffing when your shoe didn't comply with you to slip on.

"You will." She smiled, once more, and held out her hands to help you up to your feet. You thanked her once you were to and made your way to the rest of the group.
