A/N: THANK YOU FOR THE 10K VIEWS! I can't tell you how much this means to me, thank you! Also, a friendly note, I have made an exception to ONE curse word in this chapter. Enjoy, please loop the song if able to, and thank you again!

He was terrified.

As Meliodas ran through the silver trees, destroying some in the process, he came to terms with this new, yet familiar emotion. He was terrified again. He was terrified of losing the one he loved to someone he hated again, just like he'd lost his mother to his father all those millenia ago.

Though spring was coming, the chill of the winter still hung in the air in the time before dawn. It left frost into his path, and if it weren't for his ridiculous dexterity, he likely would have slipped.

He heard a boom behind him, and sensed an energy signature approaching fast behind him. He instantly blocked with Lostvayne, his sword. The impact made him skid back, but he regained his footing while turning to face the assailant.

It was the silver haired man with the scarred jaw. The jagged shape of it reminded him of something... it seemed familiar, but his rage covered and overruled his rational.

"You won't get Ellie, you filthy Demon!"the man, Ban, spat at him, his voice overflowing with hatred and determination.

Meliodas grew furious,"You won't take Ellie away from me! Not again!"

They clashed.

Back at the castle, Merlin and Escanor approached it.

Merlin stared long and hard at the familiar turrets, the black architecture and the dark ornaments had haunted her. She could remember very well how Meliodas had looked.

Black eyes, messy, golden hair, as short stature, and a toned body with handsome features. She would admit, back in her childish mind, she found him attractive, however his instincts and personality had opposed this image. Yet that made him only more interesting in her eyes.

'Perhaps he was what could be considered a crush?' she thought with her usual expression.

"L-Lady Merlin, what are you thinking about?"

Escanor's timid voice broke her from her musings, and with her continuing to float forward, she replied,"I was thinking of my first meeting with Meliodas. He was... difficult. That was why I cursed him here."

"You cursed that demon!? No wonder he knew you..."

They entered the castle, Merlin floating and Escanor shaking, however, he began to slowly stop as the dawn's light grew and grew. His magic power began to slowly rise from 15 to 17... 18... 20... 35... 48... and higher as dawns golden rays peaked from the mountains.

They entered the castle, and Merlin was slightly shocked at how neat and tidy it was. It wasn't as dark as she had recalled, the drapes were open, the windows clear, and the floors and architecture seemed...brighter. She became curious as to why and how it seemed so much warmer now, when before it had been so cold.

"Who are you?"

A voice rang out, and both Merlin and Escanor's eyes snapped to the figure that had inquired of them. She had silver and platinum hair, in the style of short bangs and then a long side bang on her right side. Her body was well endowed and curvaceous, her eyes a gorgeous cobalt and silver blue, and her skin was like snow had fallen on porcelain.

She was the epitome of beauty, with her silver and black eyelashes framing her eyes and her four silver and snow wings. Even in her thin white cotton nightgown, she was flawless. But her eyes were slightly angry, and her voice was firm and strict. Her perfect lips opened to speak again.
